Cook described Ternus a “visionary executive” with “the heart of a leader, the Cook said that Ternus is the best person to lead Apple in the future. He described Ternus as having “the mind of an engineer, the soul of an innovator, and the heart to lead with integrity and honour”. In a Monday statement, Ternus referred to Cook’s role as “mentor”. Ternus said, “I am filled with hope for what we can accomplish in the coming years.”
