ATLAS OCEAN VOYAGES UNVEILS SUITE COLLECTION FOR ATLAS ADVENTURER

Atlas Ocean Voyages unveiled today the suite collection for Atlas Adventurer – the world’s very first luxury expedition sailing boat. This new expression of exploration reinterprets ocean travel in a way that is appealing to today’s traveler. The yacht is designed at the intersection of sustainability, sophistication and a new concept of all-suite accommodations that combines expansive, residential-style accommodation with next-generation nautical innovation. It invites today’s global travelers to experience an iconic era through a distinctly contemporary lens. The general public will be able to make reservations on June 10. Leading the design vision is Artur Miranda’s and Jacques Bec’s acclaimed Portuguese studio Oitoemponto. The studio’s design language is influenced by the golden age travel. It is characterized by warm modernism and material richness. There is also a seamless dialogue that exists between the interior spaces and nature. Atlas Adventurer is a contemporary aesthetic that is unmistakably expressive, yet informed by history. Interiors are characterized by a confident symmetry, rhythmic details, and a sense of natural flow. These interiors are shaped by sailing’s dynamics. The expansive social spaces and intimate settings are seamlessly connected, maintaining a constant visual and sensory relationship with sea. Materials are layered with precision. Polished marble contrasts warm, high-gloss, mahogany while hand-finished, metals reflect changing light throughout the day. Bespoke furnishings are inspired by the sculptural discipline Art Deco, but without copying it. This creates an expression of understated elegance that feels both timeless, and progressive. The design is based on craftsmanship, tactile materials and a nuanced understanding how guests live aboard. It creates spaces that are refined yet relaxed, elegant but highly functional. The interplay of texture, light, and proportion supports a fluid transition between discovery and indulgence, defining a new expression of contemporary maritime design.ADVERTISEMENT”Atlas Adventurer represents a pivotal step forward for our brand and for expedition travel,” said James A. Rodriguez, President and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. Our continued collaboration with Oitoemponto enables us to create an ocean travel experience that balances heritage with the expectations of the modern guest, intimate in size, advanced in design and grounded in environmental responsibilities. The suite collection is organized into three categories: Signature, Concierge and Reserve Collections: offering increasing levels in space and personalization. The yacht will feature 98 Signature Collection Suites, 72 Concierge Collection Suites, and a private enclave of thirty Reserve Collection Suites.
