Bob Odenkirk shared details on the “Inside of You Podcast” with Michael Rosenbaum about the heart attack he had in 2021 while working on “Better Call Saul.”

According to Fox News Digital the 63-year old actor said that he had no memory for nearly a week. He added that his daughter helped him regain his cognitive abilities.

Odenkirk, in a conversation with Rosenbaum about the issue, recalled that the experience was “even more dangerous” because he had to be far from the set to adhere to COVID-19 protocol and “all of the people who would have heard someone screaming were across a giant studio floor.”

The situation was made worse by the fact that people thought Rhea Sehorn and Patrick Fabian, his co-stars, were laughing.

He told Seahorn that he felt uneasy when he walked to the exercise bike, and that everything “turned gray” and worse things happened before he was able to tell Seahorn.

Odenkirk’s family accompanied him throughout the entire surgery. He was taken immediately to the hospital. He explained that he did not remember anything until his daughter intervened a week later.

“My daughter made a dry-eraseboard that said what happened to be so that I could wake up and see the dry-eraseboard that: heart attack, hospital, who visited me, who was in town, and what day it was because I had no memory of that entire week,” he revealed.

He was unsure of what had happened, and seemed to be confused about his location. Why are you at the hospital?

The “Breaking Bad’ actor said that there is a funny video he and his wife Naomi made where his children asked him, after his surgery, if he understood why he was in the hospital.

He revealed, “I’m like, ‘I heard you guys were here’.” It’s really funny. It’s amazing what your brain can do. ‘How did I get here?’ “I drove here. ‘”

“You know, your brain makes up stories about what’s going on that suit you,” Odenkirk said about his experience.

He said he tells him self, “You won’t make any movies in 30 Years. You won’t be making them in 10 Years. You’re going be done and cooked. What do you want to? How much time have you left? How will you use it? ‘”

The “Normal’ actor said that it is difficult to look in the mirror and say, “I’m 63 years old, but my father lived to 56. What are you doing? How will you use it? How will you make the most of it? ‘”

Odenkirk, who had previously recounted the experience to Rachel Martin in her “Wild Card”, podcast, explained that it wasn’t anything out of this world, like seeing his life flashing before his eyes or a slideshow with his regrets. He added that there was very little trauma for him.

He did, however, experience a “lingering happiness” that slowly began to fade away days after he recovered consciousness. But he had fight it and make a mental record of it.

He recalled how he felt. “I must try to live in this way,” he said. “I must try to be like this – to see the world in this way. But it is this feeling that the world is beautiful, magical, and amazing. It’s a wonder to look at.

“And I remember thinking that this is the best and this is what you should feel. This is life. This is what life is. It’s weird. It’s weird.
