Isha Ambani brought Indian craftsmanship to the Met Gala 2026. Met Gala theme was “Fashion is Art”. She adorned a stunning custom saree by designer Gaurav Gupta. The drape featured hand-painted Pichwai-style motifs in soft gold and earthy tones.

At the heart of the look was a jewellery-integrated blouse, adorned with over 1,000 diamonds and precious stones (over 1,800 carats), This included heirloom diamonds, rare emeralds, and traditional polki and kundan from Nita Ambani’s personal collection. A rare Sarpech (turban ornament) from the Nizam of Hyderabad’s collection was stitched into the back of the blouse.
