Charles Barkley Pokes Fun At Ice Spice After Wild McDonald’s Brawl: ‘Slappy Happy Meals’

Charles Barkley, NBA analyst, has broken his silence about the Ice Spice brawl at a McDonald’s that broke out in April 2026. Barkley made a few jokes during the Saturday, April 18, airing of “Inside the NBA” about the 26-year old’s latest troubles. He asked his co-hosts if they had heard the news, before sharing what Barkley thought the “Barbie World’s” performer would’ve done instead.

Charles Barkley Jokes After Ice Spice Fighting At McDonald’s – ‘Slappy Happy Meals’

Barkley told Ernie Johnson, at the end of his show, “I heard they had some slappy Happy Meals over there.” “You saw Ice Spice get slapped at McDonald’s?” What are you doing at McDonald’s late at night, Ice Spice? Stop it! “Get it out of here!”

McDonald’s presents “Inside the NBA”, so the former NBA player’s comments are even more ironic. “Presented by McDonald’s.” Johnson added, “How about that? Presented by McDonald’s Chuck.”

The conversation didn’t end there. Barkley declared that he loved McDonald’s, especially their fish filets and barbecue sauce before commenting on the Ice Spice incident.

“Let Ice Spice enjoy her meal in peace!” She should have slapped the Big Mac in her face. “You walk up to me, everything is on the table,” joked he.

Ice Spice was reportedly assaulted while eating McDonald’s

According to an earlier report by The Blast, Ice Spice got into a tense situation in April 2026 when she was eating with a friend in The Golden Arches. In the shocking video, Ice Spice sits in a booth as a fan approaches.

The video, which does not reveal the details of the conversation, shows that things are getting tense as the fan slaps Ice Spice. Ice Spice jumped up from the table to chase after the fan. Bystanders are seen trying to deescalate the situation, by separating the women.

The fan shared her side of story, claiming that Ice Spice and her friends were rude to her after she approached them in a warm manner.

“She kept on going, then she called me a b*tch. So after she called me a ****, I hit her,” said the fan.

Ice Spice’s fight at McDonald’s was brought to light because of her sponsorship with Wendy’s, a popular fast-food chain. In a post on social media, the rapper said, “This would not happen at Wendy’s.”

The rapper’s attorney responded to the video by calling it “an unprovoked assault” before revealing that the alleged attack had already been reported to Los Angeles Police Department.

“Not to mention, the individuals involved did not know that we would be getting the video from the McDonald’s, where the unprovoked assault occurred. After the initial attack, they turned on their cameras as if setting up our client and to make the video ‘go viral’.

Ice Spice’s growing friendship with Taylor Swift made headlines in 2024. They collaborated on a remix for Swift’s “Karma.” But some thought their budding friendship was just a clout move.

Ice Spice defended the bond between them by asking Rolling Stone: “Why wouldn’t she want to be my friends? Taylor f-cks me. She’s funny. “I think our personalities are a great match.”

The rapper and Swift have been spotted at the Super Bowl LIX 2025, Coachella in 2024, and MTV Video Music Awards 2023.

She later recalled that she “played it cool on the telephone” to prevent herself from crying when she heard the Grammy-winner was interested in collaborating with her.

Riot, my producer, definitely filmed the scene. She said that it would probably appear in a documentary someday. The Charles Barkley Pokes FUN At Ice Spice After Wild McDonald’s Fight: ‘Slappy happy meals’ originally appeared on The Blast
