In Lena Dunham’s memoir, “Famesick,” the actress opens up about her relationship with Adam Driver, her “Girls'” co-star. In her tell-all memoir, she claims that he screamed at her when she forgot her line, threw his chair and punched a hole into the wall of the trailer. He rose to fame while filming the HBO series. He also starred in the “Star Wars: The Next Trilogy” sequel trilogy with Daisy Ridley. Ridley’s remarks about working with Driver have been resurfaced in light of Dunham’s accusations.

In an interview with V Magazine Ridley joked about becoming “besties” while filming “Star Wars” trilogy sequels. Ridley played Rey in the first two films. She was just beginning to understand the Force. Driver played Kylo Ren the villain, the son of Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Han Solo.
In “The Rise of Skywalker”, Kylo Ren was redeemed. He assumed his identity as Ben Solo and helped Rey defeat the Emperor Palpatine. The two characters kissed before he died and faded away into the Force.
In the interview Ridley said: “I mean, Adam, as we found out, we became besties in the last year. But we had met a few years earlier. It takes me a long time to relax around people. I’m not very good at meeting new people. I feel uncomfortable. So, I find that meeting people is very stressful.”
Driver replied, “Yeah you always seemed to be very open but I feel exactly the same as you.” When I meet new people, I’m not very good at small talk.

Driver replied, “That is a lie. We will make sure it’s printed.” He concluded the interview by saying, “Alright. Well, thank you, Daisy.” I think you’re brilliant.”
In the comments section, fans praised them for their “beautiful relationship,” and one user wrote: “They’re adorable when they are interviewed together.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, “The Last Jedi’s” director Rian Johnson revealed that Driver had “gone the distance” to make Ridley happy by flying to Ireland to be off camera for their Force connection scene.
He explained that “every time we shot one side, the other person was not on camera.” “Even to a point where Adam flew over to Ireland to be off camera when Daisy’s stuff was shot, which was crucial because these are such intimate conversations.”
“And that meant we had also to shoot each of these scenes twice, basically. Which meant the rehearsal time, was really important,” continued he. “And my editor Bob Ducsay made it feel seamless after the event.”

In an interview with AdoroCinema, Ridley stated, “I love to work with Adam.” He had nothing but good things to say in regards to working with him.
She said, “He is an incredible actor and is immersed in his character so much that it’s not difficult to act alongside him.” “In that torture sequence [in Episode VII], it was a very complex scene. We repeated takes for a very long time. I remember thinking “How will I reach that same point each time?” Adam was so into that scene, and he gave me so much space… I don’t think anyone else would have done it.”

Ridley and Driver choreographed the fight scenes in each of the three films, but Ridley says they always checked in on one another.
“We were filming an important fight scene and we asked, ‘Are You Okay? Is everything okay? Is the distance okay?’ There have always been concerns for each other’s well-being and safety,” she said.
She remembered, “I must’ve hit Adam a couple of times.” “Once, he hit my finger, but we finished it anyway. When we are finished, my God will be in pain. I asked for a moment. I thought I had fractured my fingers.”
Her comments are in stark opposition to some of the accusations Dunham makes in this new memoir. She also claims that, in addition to the allegations of violence during filming “Girls,” they almost crossed a line in their relationship. This led to him becoming engaged to his wife, Joanne Tucker a month later.
