According to reports, the actor tackled an intruder while they waited for the authorities. The former Disney star, despite the alarming situation he was in, responded with his trademark humor, downplaying it and even showing off some karate moves. The Blast reported that Sprouse tackled a trespasser in the lawn before his spouse called for help. TMZ reported that a source said the actor held the intruder at gunpoint until the authorities arrived. Authorities noted that the intruder did not enter the house but was on the premises. The situation was therefore not considered a burglary, but rather a trespassing. The unnamed suspect, who was arrested for outstanding warrants not related to the invasion of the home, was not identified. TMZ obtained footage of the arrest, which showed the man being handcuffed outside Sprouse’s home. The gate clearly displayed “Private Property”, “No Trespassing”, and “Private Property”.
