Japan House London wins Best Visitor Experience category at Cultural Enterprises Awards 2026

The Visitor Experience Team at Japan House London has won the Best Visitor Experience category at the Cultural Enterprises Awards 2026.

Beating off competition from over 1,600 other cultural organizations across the UK, Japan House London was selected by judges at Cultural Enterprises, a trade body for the arts, heritage and cultural sector, for its authentic approach and the respect shown not only to visitors but also to the skills of team members at all levels.​The Visitor Experience Team at Japan House London has won the Best Visitor Experience category at the Cultural Enterprises Awards 2026.

Abra Group to Incorporate Seven Airbus A330-900 Aircraft into its Fleet

​Abra Group announced today that it will progressively incorporate seven Airbus A330-900 wide-body aircraft into its fleet during 2026 and 2027. This expansion forms part of the Group’s strategy to strengthen its long-haul operations and enhance the travel experience in key international markets. In an initial phase, up to five of the seven aircraft will be operated by GOL and two by avianca, reinforcing the Group’s network and operational capabilities within the region and on routes to and from Europe and North America. Wamos Air, an essential part of the Group, will support GOL’s internationalization strategy and avianca’s expansion during this growth period.

Brazilian Airline GOL announces direct Rio-New York route, expanding International operations

​In a landmark move for Brazilian aviation, GOL Linhas Aéreas has officially announced the launch of its first-ever long-haul route, signaling a robust new phase in the airline’s international expansion strategy. Starting on July 8, 2026, the carrier will begin operating direct, non-stop flights connecting RIOgaleão – Tom Jobim International Airport (GIG) in Rio de Janeiro to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City. This highly anticipated service will feature three weekly frequencies and was developed through a strategic partnership with the Rio de Janeiro City Hall.
