Man indicted for allegedly posting gruesome death threats against Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi on social media

A man is facing federal charges for allegedly posting gruesome threats against two prominent former Trump Administration officials, including former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Bondi and former Attorney General Pam Bondi. Elliott Owen Schroer, whose name was not disclosed, is reportedly a Georgian. According to Law & Crime, he used X around April 3 to publish a series of graphic images describing his plans to kidnap, assault or kill the former officials. He said, “I will stab out your eyes with a dull blade.” Prosecutors alleged that Schroer threatened Noem with a barrage of disturbing threats, saying “I will stab your eyes out with a dull knife.” “We will put the head on a stake. Authorities stressed that the threats listed were “not limited” to the posts referenced in indictment. FLORIDA MAN ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY TREATING TO KILL TRUMP RUBIO AND BONDIS Separately, Schroer allegedly also posted a threat message directed at Bondi. The post read: “We’re going to kill Pam,” according to the alleged posting. Prosecutors claimed that Schroer’s postings were meant to retaliate for Noem and Bondi’s performance of official duties during their tenure in office. The four-count Schroer indictment includes two counts for interstate communication and two counts for making threats against former officials. The federal government is represented by Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg, and Assistant Attorney Jennifer Keen.
