Mob of teens chases college student into campus dorm, unleashes violent attack as police hunt suspects

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!Pennsylvania authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a violent mob of teens accused of chasing a college student into a campus residence hall and attacking them over the weekend. Police say that the incident occurred around 2:50 am on Sunday when a group juveniles chased a Temple University Student into Morgan Hall South. Once inside, they allegedly attacked the student and damaged university property. Police say that a member of FRAT House allegedly sexually assaulted a woman. “It puts it into perspective, because as a student, you are more concerned with education than safety. But this incident is a bit more on the forefront,” Emanuel Turner, a sophomore, told ABC 6. Campus authorities have released images of suspects to track down those responsible for alleged assault.FOLLOW XThe surveillance photos show a group consisting of nine individuals, some wearing hoodies or facial coverings, walking on a street with some faces visible. The authorities have not disclosed what led to the alleged assault and no arrests were made. According to the school website, Temple University has an enrollment of approximately 30,000 students. It is located in the center of Philadelphia. Morgan Hall is a residential hall that houses around 1,200 students. The authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Philadelphia Police Department at (215)-686-9000.
