Stefon Diggs, who has been relatively quiet in recent months after his Super Bowl loss and his alleged split with Cardi B is now back in the spotlight due to a lingering sexual abuse case. Diggs’ accuser has demanded that the NFL star provide his financial records following a defamation suit he filed in response to being accused sexual assault. Stefon Diggs Sexual Assault Accuser Wants Financial Records in Ongoing Case KCS Presse / Mega Per legal documents obtained via TMZ by influencer Christopher Blake Griffith and his legal team recently filed a request asking a court to order Diggs to provide evidence, through his financial records that Griffith’s allegations of sexual assault have financially damaged him. Griffith and his legal team accuse Diggs of “resisting discovery” and one attorney said that the footballer “doesn’t get to sue while hiding,” which is a reference to Diggs November 2025 defamation suit. Griffith claims that Diggs has tried to “obstruct discovery that would test [his] claims” and that Diggs cannot have it both ways. Diggs stated in the lawsuit that he, Griffith and other internet personalities stayed the night in a club after attending a charity game in Washington D.C. Diggs explained that after the club, he had invited everyone to his Rockville, Maryland home. The lawsuit went on to note that Diggs claimed he had taken Griffith into his bedroom at his house before having his assistant take him out. Griffith claimed that Diggs had drugged him and sexually abused him during their interaction. Diggs then conspired to kill him. Griffith claimed in a podcast that Diggs tried to kill him because he made a sexual move at him. Griffith stated that it wasn’t just the sexual pass which frustrated him. “What frustrated me most was that he attempted to unalive me afterwards, when in fact, even though i was drugged and even though i was violated, i never thought the next step would have been my life being threatened, because you were turned down,” Griffith stated. Diggs, accompanied by his legal team including attorney Mitchell Schuster entered a not-guilty plea to the December 20,25 charges. Schuster told the waiting media outside the court: “We are confident that after reviewing the facts and evidence in this case, we will be able to exonerate him.” Diggs, the chef who claimed to have strangled her in a dispute over payment, was officially charged with felony assault and battery and felony strangulation on December 30. According to TMZ, she reported the alleged assault on December 2, 2025. The victim described in detail how she was in her bedroom at Diggs’ house with the door unlocked, when the NFL star entered to discuss text messages they had been exchanging over a dispute about payment that she claimed she hadn’t received. She went on to say that Diggs grew increasingly angry during their conversation before he allegedly hit her in the face. After being slapped by Diggs, she allegedly “tried choking her using the crook on his elbow around her throat.” The victim said that Diggs then placed himself behind her and wrapped his arm around her neck to make it difficult for her to breathe. The victim claimed that she was about to black out at this point, but Diggs tightened the grip when she tried pulling away. She also denied that she had told the victim to remain silent. Cardi posted a text message exchange between her and the victim on social media to prove she wasn’t involved. She quickly deleted it. “Not once did that woman tell me she was touched.. NOT ONCE!! She explained that they had been talking every day until the woman left, and that she only wrote her this letter after she was accused of not helping the woman. “But I’m going to let the courts deal with this sh-t. When it is handled, I want you all to apologize loudly and on your knees as much as you have been harassing me over a lie. I will put that on my 2-month-old child in the name God! Cardi continued, “That’s how confident and sure I am.”

In addition to the assault allegations from Christopher Blake Griffith and a former chef of his, Stefon diggs was also sued in 2025 by a former lover who claimed he physically assaulted in a 2024 incident, which he denied. Days before the 2026 Super Bowl Diggs’ name was mentioned in a suit filed by a man claiming that the footballer blamed him for a Ferrari that was supposed be transported from Miami, New York, and finally to Houston.
