UFO writer, paranormal YouTuber dies in suicide at home after mental health call: police

This story is about suicide. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office released a statement saying that David Wilcock, 53 died on April 20. He was a paranormal content creator who gained online fame for posting UFO content. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office reported that authorities responded to a 911 request from a home near Nederland about an individual experiencing a crisis at 10:45 a.m. Wilcock “used the gun on himself” within minutes of deputies arriving, officials said. No other individuals were discovered inside the residence, and authorities stated that there was no threat to the public. Wilcock was a prominent member of the online UFO movement, which is based on the belief that the U.S. Government withholds information about extraterrestrial life to its citizens. He had hundreds of thousands followers on Facebook and YouTube, and often participated in livestreamed discussion in which he explained his claims regarding UFO research and discoveries.
