Prince Harry’s Fallout With Charity Built In His Mother’s Honor Takes A Sad Turn With Defamation Lawsuit

Sentebale, the charity Prince Harry helped found almost 20 years ago, has filed a defamation lawsuit against him, alleging a coordinated media campaign harmed its reputation. Court documents filed at the High Court of England and Wales name both the duke and former trustee Mark Dyer as defendants. The charity says the action stems from a “coordinated adverse media campaign” that damaged its reputation, interfered with its operations, and unleashed online harassment against its leaders. The suit follows a period of internal turmoil that prompted resignations and regulatory investigations, deepening divisions within the organization and leaving Harry reportedly upset amid questions about leadership.

Sentebale alleges the campaign began in March 2025, spreading misleading information about the organization, straining ties with staff and partners, and prompting waves of online scrutiny. The charity says it had to redirect substantial time and resources toward managing a reputational crisis it did not create.

The claim was filed on March 24, but detailed court documents have not yet been released to the public.

The dispute comes after Harry resigned as a patron in 2025, along with co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, citing a breakdown in relations between trustees and board chair Sophie Chandauka. Their exit occurred as several trustees also departed amid a broader governance crisis. In a joint statement, the founders said they stepped down “with heavy hearts,” calling the situation irreparable and deeply harmful to the charity’s governance.

The UK Charity Commission conducted an investigation into the organization.

Diddy’s Holmby Hills Neighbors Reportedly Dread His Possible Return If Mogul Wins Early Release

Residents of the Holmby Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles are increasingly on edge amid rumors that Sean “Diddy” Combs could return home if his appeal succeeds. Worries center on potential disturbances such as noisy parties and heightened media scrutiny at his property, which has drawn police attention in the past. As Combs’ legal team pushes forward with an appeal of his 50-month sentence, judges are weighing the case.

TMZ reports that sources close to the area say conversations among residents have intensified, with fears that a comeback could revive the disturbances associated with Combs’ previous legal issues. The concerns go beyond media scrutiny and extra security, extending to the kinds of activities linked to the estate. Sources note that past family events at Combs’ property were often exceptionally loud, prompting multiple police responses and unsettling some neighbors. Meanwhile, local real estate agents are reportedly cautioning prospective buyers about the adjacent home, presenting it as a factor that could affect property values or spark conflicts if overlooked.

On the legal front, Combs’ attorneys challenge his conviction, arguing that the 50-month sentence is disproportionately harsh compared with typical Mann Act penalties, which they say average around 15 months. They also point out that he has already served a substantial portion of his sentence while the appeal proceeds. In hearings, the defense referenced allegations related to Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, such as drug-use claims that they say were omitted from the original federal trial. They also mentioned a “hotel night” episode tied to what they described as consensual interactions with a person known as “Jane,” asserting there was no coercion or intimidation. The defense has requested a prompt ruling from the court, though no timetable has been provided for a decision.

Last July, Combs was found guilty on two counts of violating the Mann Act by transporting people for prostitution. The charges involved arranging trips for escorts to have sex with his ex-partners, including Cassie and another woman who testified under the pseudonym “Jane.”

How ‘The Pitt’ Helped Patrick Ball Escape A Crushing $80K Burden

Patrick Ball owes his current success to Max’s hit TV series, “The Pitt.” In a recent interview, the 36-year-old revealed how his role on the show enabled him to escape a crushing $80,000 debt. Patrick Ball made his Broadway debut in ‘Becky Shaw’. MEGA. Ball recently debuted on Broadway as Andrew in “Becky Shaw,” a dark comedy where a disastrous first date triggers a chain reaction among a circle of emotionally fragile adults dealing with intricate problems. In his Cultured Magazine interview, Ball described his time in the production as “bittersweet,” reminiscing about his theater-kid roots. “I’m thrilled to reclaim my days and hang out in the park, but rehearsal is my absolute favorite spot in the universe.” It’s something you don’t really see in movies or TV. “I absolutely love the tinkering aspect of theater, and I’m kind of sad that it’s going to end,” he said. How Did Patrick Ball Become Involved in ‘Becky Shaw’ on Broadway? MEGA. While Ball is portraying Andrew, a 31-year-old office manager aspiring to a successful writing career, he revealed that he was initially attracted to the role of Max, a cocky New York City financial advisor. “Most of my career, I’d be playing the bull in the china shop—the overtly aggressive asshole that you realize may not be an asshole,” he said. But after discussions with the show’s director and writer, Ball said he viewed his character differently. “Then I spent a week with the play and came back, like, ‘Now that I look a little closer at this Andrew guy, there’s a sort of insidious, performative nice-guy thing here that’s very layered and very interesting and something I actually think I need to talk about right now,'” he added. There’s a reason Ball felt closely aligned to the role of Max. MEGA. The more time Ball spends with the production, the more he recognizes the script’s deeper complexities. “I didn’t realize how funny the play was from the page, but this whole conversation around overt aggression versus covert aggression—the assumption that this person is a sweetie pie, your best friend, who rubs your back and tells you everything you want to hear, but is secretly taking over your life and emotionally blackmailing you—that’s an interesting thing to talk about,” he shared. Ball said the show’s aggressive nature is something he’s familiar with in real life. I truly believe that clarity is a form of kindness, so I strive to be direct with others.
