Nu sunt sigur. autres 22025 Conor Benn, bloodied from cuts above both eyes due to mid-fight head clashes, advanced toward a world title opportunity by defeating a past-his-prime Regis Prograis via points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 29-year-old British fighter relied on his youth, stamina, and size to narrowly win the gritty, chaotic bout. The 37-year-old ex-world champion Prograis connected with some sharp punches but couldn’t find his groove as the fight wore on, with all three judges scoring it 98-92 for Benn. Held at a 10st 12lb (163kg) catchweight—3lb over welterweight—Benn eyes a title next in that division. This marked Benn’s return since his high-profile clashes with Chris Eubank Jr last year, post his split from long-time promoter Matchroom, and after inking a lucrative one-fight pact with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing in February.
