If you’ve ever tried malted chocolate cake or brownies, you get what I mean. But it’s not the easiest task to find malted milk powder in stores. It’s often concealed in an instant drink mix, blended with chocolate to make it resemble malt, though it’s not. But Guinness is easy to find—and an ingredient that delivers a ton of robust, malty flavor. Thus, this chocolate and Guinness loaf cake came into being.
