As part of the initiative, a select group of international travelers will be invited to spend a week in the Finnish Lakeland, a region celebrated for its expansive natural beauty—sparkling lakes, thick forests, and endless rolling hills. “More and more international tourists are visiting Finland in pursuit of the secret to happiness, but Lakeland remains an undiscovered treasure for many,” said Heli Jimenez, senior director of international marketing at Business Finland, in an interview with Euro News. It’s the region that Finns themselves head back to for genuine relaxation, and the ideal spot for anyone seeking to escape the clamor of daily life. The campaign includes a video that embodies the spirit of a Finnish summer.
