Gemini Gets New Notebooks Feature That Syncs With NotebookLM

Google announced on Wednesday that Gemini is gaining a new notebooks feature, which further integrates with NotebookLM. NotebookLM is easily one of Google’s best AI tools available. It enables you to add sources to a notebook and pose questions or generate a sequence of outputs, drawing solely from the material you’ve supplied, keeping it self-contained. This sets it apart from the standalone Gemini chatbot, which searches the whole internet for responses. NotebookLM’s responses are based solely on your provided sources. It’s excellent for school studying, work preparation, and even sparking creativity. There’s no incorrect way to use it, and its versatility encourages exploration, so it’s no wonder it’s becoming more deeply integrated into Google’s own chatbot. Late last year, Google enabled adding a NotebookLM notebook to Gemini, giving it all the context you’d included. Google recommends viewing notebooks as personal knowledge bases. You can add files, previous chats, and documents on a specific topic, and you can always return to that conversation with Gemini and resume from where you stopped. A dedicated space to organize everything in one spot is fantastic for Gemini by itself, but you can also utilize those notebooks within NotebookLM. Notebooks simplify keeping all info on a specific topic centralized, providing Gemini with everything required without the hassle of re-entering details manually.
