Ice Spice has spoken out following a chaotic fight that broke out in a Hollywood McDonald’s. The incident occurred on Wednesday, while the rapper and a female friend were seated in a booth when a fan approached them. Vayah, a woman identified as the fan, initially appeared to request a place to sit. However, the interaction quickly escalated to tense. Ice Spice is seen in the video footage gesturing towards the door as the situation became increasingly hostile before it suddenly turned violent.

The altercation turned violent when Vayah hit Ice Spice in the head, resulting in a full-blown brawl. The two were seen fighting inside the restaurant, before the chaos spilled out. Ice Spice was knocked down at one point. As the situation spiraled out of control, bystanders tried to intervene. They heard voices shouting “Calm down!”
Even after the initial argument appeared to be over, tensions re-emerged. Ice Spice took a phone off the floor that was later determined not to be hers and instead of returning it she threw it out the window.
When questioned about her actions, she replied, “Because f-ck you all, that’s the reason.” F-ck both you and that b*tch. The confrontation escalated quickly again outside. Ice Spice was heard screaming, “Why would she touch me? “, and repeatedly asking “Where is she?”

Vayah shared her version of the events. She claimed that she first approached Ice Spice and Ice Spice’s friend with compliments, but was met with a rude reaction. “She kept on going, then she called me a b*tch. So after she called me a ****, I hit her,” Vayah said.
Ice Spice responded to the incident in her own words after the video was shared on social media. She joked, “This wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s,” after sharing the clip on social media.
The viral clapback coincides with Ice Spice’s ongoing Wendy’s partnership. The rapper, who worked as a Wendy’s cashier in the past, has taken advantage of the relationship online. She even updated her bio and promoted the chain on recent posts.

Ice Spice’s lawyer has responded to the incident, calling it an “unprovoked assault”. The incident was reportedly referred to Los Angeles Police Department with possible legal action being considered.
The statement states that “the LAPD has been informed of the unprovoked attack against my client and we will pursue all avenues possible to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions including criminally and civilly.”
The attorney suggested that McDonald’s could also face consequences. He added, “Not to say that the individuals involved did not know that we would be getting the video from the McDonald’s, where the unprovoked assault occurred.” After the initial attack, they turned on their cameras as if setting up our client and to make the video “go viral.”

Ice Spice also speaks out about the criticisms she has received for her music and writing. In a recent NYLON interview, the rapper admitted that she may have contributed to the narrative by initially downplaying her talent.
“I think that my mistake was… letting the people feel a little like they were right,” she said. “People were trying say that I am not a lyricist and I just went in with an attitude of ‘Yeah they’re right. I’m not. But it’s simply not true.”

Her comments are a departure from her earlier statements, such as a 2023 Complex interview where she discussed her approach to songwriting. She said, “I wouldn’t call myself a writer.” “Obviously, lyrics are a part of music. I do consider them and I have bars in my music, but they’re super simple.”
She said, “I don’t want the videos to fly over peoples’ heads and they never catch them. I want people to be able to hear it immediately and think, “OK, that was cute.” The Ice Spice Breaks Silence on Viral McDonald’s brawl originally appeared on The Blast
