Jen Shah, a former star of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” was freed from prison in December 2025 following more than two years behind bars for conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Shah opened up about her prison life and the circumstances that led to it during an interview with PEOPLE. In the heartfelt discussion, Shah disclosed that she and her long-term husband were nearing divorce amid her legal troubles. The “RHOSLC” alum stated, “My husband and I were separated.” We were on the brink of divorce. I was overcome by profound grief due to the deaths of my grandmother, my father, and my aunt, all within a very brief span. I was sinking further into my previously diagnosed clinical depression.
