Manhunt underway after gunmen storm Chick-fil-A leaving 1 dead

A fatal shooting at a Chick-fil-A in New Jersey killed one person and wounded six others, with authorities stating it was a targeted attack and the suspects still at large. Police arrived on scene around 9 p.m. On Saturday, officers responded to a restaurant on Route 22 in Union, where they found seven victims, per the Union County Prosecutor’s Office. The eatery is situated on a bustling section of Route 22, a high-traffic commercial artery in Union County. One victim was declared dead at the scene, and the remaining six received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. A man whose girlfriend works at the restaurant told CBS New York that she described a group of men entering the establishment, moving behind the counter, and firing several shots. Investigators have not disclosed any potential motive or named suspects, though officials confirmed the incident was targeted. Officials have not indicated if the victims were individually targeted or linked to the suspects.
