Meghan’s outfit that she wore during her visit to Bondi Beach to meet survivors after the terror attack is now available online. She reportedly earns commissions from this platform.

OneOff, the fashion platform, is selling her look from the Sydney Beach Visit, which includes Prince Harry’s promotional images. It includes a striped top, white jeans and trainers.

According to the Daily Mail Meghan receives between 10% and 25% of each item sold. She is also listed as a shareholder in the AI driven shopping site.

The profile of Meghan, Duchess Sussex, as she is known on the platform, features her recent appearances including her current Australia trip, with each featuring direct shopping links.

During her visit, the duchess was visibly emotional as she spoke with survivors and first responders who were involved in the December attack which claimed 15 lives.

She also hugged those directly affected, such as Jessica Chapnik Kahn who protected her child during the incident.

Royal Commentator: Prince Harry and Meghan are ‘commercializing their royal brand’

Some observers have criticized the timing of the outfit’s promotion, questioning her decision to link the clothing to sales so soon after a meeting with terror attack survivors.

Critics claim that displaying a purchaseable look during such an important engagement blurs the lines between humanitarian work and commercial activities.

Richard Palmer, a royal commentator, described the move as a “sharpest example yet” of Harry and Meghan’s attempts to commercialize their brand.

He said that it might “have alarms ringing in the palace” and could lead to further discussion on whether or not there is a necessity to strip them of royal titles, especially given recent precedents with the family.

Expert added: “The Palace can say that it has nothing to do with it because Harry and Meghan aren’t publicly-funded members – but they’re the King’s daughter and son-in-law and any suggestion that they’re cashing in on their royal status reflects poorly on the monarchy.”

Meghan’s decision to post the outfit she wore when she met Bondi survivors on social media didn’t go by unnoticed. It prompted mixed reactions.

One person commented about X: “It’s amazing that these two still get opportunities, even though they’ve shown by their past behavior they intend to merchandize and profit tf from all of it.”

A second person said, “Her company must be in serious trouble if she has resorted to such ghoulish tactics. Why did she consider this appropriate? Why did she think that normal people would accept it?”

Another harsh critic said of the duchess’s business decision: “She is disgusting, and wonders why was the’most trolled person on the entire planet’.”

Despite the backlash the couple continued to engage in engagements throughout Sydney. Harry and Meghan spent time at Bondi Beach talking with survivors and first-responders. They also briefly shared a light moment with a beachgoer, before Harry returned his focus to those affected.

She called hate a “human problem” and stressed the need to confront it. She also said that the chance to connect on an emotional level was what made the moment so meaningful.

Later that day, the pair was welcomed by a crowd gathered in front of the Sydney Opera House. They then headed out to a sailing competition hosted by Invictus Australia.

Harry joked that they usually receive “budgie smugglers” when they met Joel Vanderzwan at the harbor. He gave them custom flip-flops with the words “G’day Hazza”, “G’day Megs”, and “G’day Hazza”.

They later boarded a wheelchair-accessible vessel designed for injured veterans.

The couple’s return to Australia was a welcome one. They last visited the country in 2018, when Harry announced the Invictus Games were being hosted there. Invictus Australia CEO Michael Hartung called their return to Sydney Harbour a “full circle moment.”

The day ended with the couple sitting next to Phil Waugh, CEO for the Australian Rugby Union, at a rugby game between the New South Wales Waratahs vs. Moana Pasifika.
