Teller has made it clear that his recent huge payday will not pull him out of Hollywood.
The “Top Gun’ star has spoken out about his future, after a reported $325 million sale was made of The Finnish Long Drink. The canned cocktail brand that he invested in as early as 2019 is now worth $325 millions. The Mark Anthony Group, the company behind White Claw, recently acquired a ready-to drink spritzer for a record-breaking price.
Teller will receive a portion of the windfall but says it is not enough to stop him from acting.
The actor refused to disclose his exact earnings, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he “doesn’t really talk about numbers.” “I was taught that’s not good taste.” “I’m not going to retire from acting any time soon,” I’ll only say.
Teller compares business to acting

Teller was very hands-on in building the brand. He traveled from bar to bar all over the country to promote and grow its reach. He was also involved in its marketing, helping to turn it into one the largest ready-to drink alcohol brands in the U.S.
The actor said that the experience of working in business is similar to acting.
“It is very easy to support a cause that you believe in,” said he. “When I go to these places and everyone is wearing Long Drink stuff I take as much pleasure in that as when someone tells me that they really loved the movie that I starred in.”

The actor has revealed that he is not interested in joining social media platforms despite constant pressure.
Teller acknowledged that people warn him often about the potential loss of opportunities if he stays off Instagram. However, he said it’s not worth it. He said he has never felt the urge to post constant updates or give such a high level of access to his life.
“I like to keep the details of my private life private. I want people to get to know me by watching the movies that I support and my association with Long Drink,” said he.

Teller acknowledged that staying away from social media had its downsides, particularly when it came to business.
The actor revealed that despite helping to grow Long Drink to a major player within the ready-to drink space, some brands are reluctant to work with him as he does not have a platform to promote their product.
He cited his work with the company as proof that influence does not always come from an application. Teller said they found “great” ways to promote the drink, which aligned with his personal style. This allowed him to advocate on his terms.

Teller, after the wildfires in California 2025, showed a personal side by surprising his wife with an adapted version of her wedding gown, which was destroyed.
Teller and his family were forced to flee as the fires ravaged through their neighborhood. They lost their home. Keleigh’s bridal gown was among the items that were lost.
Teller recreated her wedding dress months later. In a video shared on her TikTok account, the model is seen opening a box and asking, “Is that my wedding dress?”
“Yeah,” Teller responds.
