​Only days after clinching Michigan’s first NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship since 1989, guards Nimari Burnett and Charlie May extended their victory celebration from the court to the community. The championship pair made an unexpected stop at Raising Cane’s in Ann Arbor, where they spent the morning on a special “shift” with crew members while engaging with fans. Just steps from campus, the restaurant soon turned into a lively maize-and-blue party, as students, families, and local fans crowded in to see the newly crowned champions.
