These could include hot flushes or headaches, as well as potentially fatal ovarian hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) symptoms. She said that donating eggs is a medical procedure, so there are some risks. Ms Ettinghausen said that anyone who is considering becoming an egg donor should seek expert advice and specialist counseling before making a decision.
