Meghan Trainor Speaks Out About Getting ‘Dragged Into’ Toxic Mom Group Drama

Meghan Trainor is sharing her thoughts about the “toxic mom group” drama sparked by Ashley Tisdale‘s essay for The Cut, wherein the actress wrote about feeling left out. Although the latter didn’t mention names, outlets identified Trainor as part of the group. Trainor is speaking out about the issue and how her name was brought into the drama, saying how she felt bad for the two parties involved. The Toxic Mom Group Drama MEGA On January 1, The Cut published an article penned by Ashley Tisdale titled “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group.” In it, the “High School Musical” actress detailed how she found a group of mom friends, thinking, “I’ve found my village.” Later, however, she noticed she was being left out of get-togethers, which prompted her to question whether she wasn’t “cool enough” to be part of the group of “incredible, smart, funny women.” Tisdale then said she no longer wanted to be involved with the women, and she sent a message to the group chat saying, “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.” Tisdale didn’t mention names, but when articles were written about her essay, photos of Tisdale with a group of women, including Megan Trainor, Mandy Moore, and Hilary Duff, were posted, leading many to believe Trainor was part of the drama. Meghan Trainor Felt Bad For Ashley Tisdale Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency / MEGA In a conversation with Us Weekly, Trainor spoke about the controversy. “I felt bad for Ashley. I felt bad that she was ever that sad, and I think it was just a lot of miscommunication and confusion. I don’t know what happened, but I wish them all the best,” the singer said. Trainor said she received a text from Tisdale apologizing for her name being mentioned by outlets as one of the “toxic” moms. “I was like, ‘It’s all right, girl, like, the world’s a silly, crazy place, and they just want something to talk about,’” she replied. According to the “All About That Bass” singer, she had no idea what the issue was, as she hadn’t seen any of the women in the mom group for a year. In fact, she confessed to being a “bad mom friend” for missing out on many of the group’s get-togethers. The Singer Hasn’t Been Part Of The Group Chat For Some Time LISA OConnor/ AFF-USA.COM / MEGA Trainor further explained that she was once part of a group chat with the moms, but they eventually started a new group chat without her. “There was a group chat, but, like, eventually they started a group chat without me because I wasn’t there. And I was like, ‘That’s totally fine.’” She also got messages from members of the mom group apologizing that she was “dragged into” the controversy. Trainor said the situation was a “nightmare” for some of the mothers in the group who were not famous, as they received negative online attention following Tisdale’s essay. Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Leave Parents Out Of Wedding Plans

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in recent memory, but the couple is keeping the biggest decisions firmly between themselves. Despite both families playing major roles in helping shape the lives and careers that brought them here, insiders say Taylor and Travis have chosen a far more private route for their big day. Surprisingly, even their famously close-knit parents are on the outside looking in. Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Reportedly Making Every Major Wedding Decision Together ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA Taylor and Travis are said to be taking full control of their upcoming wedding, with insiders revealing that neither the Swifts nor the Kelces are directly involved in planning the event. According to the Daily Mail, the superstar couple has decided to work closely with a wedding planner while keeping the final say between themselves. A source told the outlet that while both families are thrilled that the pair are getting married, they have not been included in the decision-making process. “Both sets of parents are all really happy and think getting married is the right thing for them to do because they’re old school and wanted him to put a ring on Taylor’s finger,” the insider said. Still, support from the sidelines is where the parents’ role reportedly ends. “But none of them are involved in the wedding planning, although surprisingly Travis is,” the source added. Taylor, who has spent her career overseeing every detail of her music, tours, and public image, is said to be bringing that same energy into wedding preparations. “Taylor’s not the official wedding planner, but most of the ideas are hers. She’s used to taking control. This will be her big day and along with Travis she’ll be the mastermind,” the insider explained. Far from simply nodding along, Travis is reportedly just as invested. “She literally runs everything past him. If they don’t agree on something they scrap it,” the source said. Taylor’s Family Helped Build The Life That Brought Her To This Moment Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/MEGA The decision to leave parents out of the planning may seem surprising given how involved Taylor Swift’s family has been in shaping her journey. Andrea and Scott Swift have long been more than supportive parents; they have been active participants in helping Taylor build her career from the ground up. After marrying in 1988, Andrea and Scott made a major sacrifice in 2004, selling the family home in Pennsylvania and moving to Nashville so Taylor could pursue country music. Both took active roles in helping her manage the early stages of her rise, laying the foundation for the global stardom she enjoys today. Andrea also reportedly played a key part in Taylor and Travis’ love story. When Travis famously attended the singer’s Eras Tour stop in 2023, hoping to hand her a friends

Which is weird, because I was raised by a male genius who would never do that.” Allison Williams Sidesteps ‘Famesick’ Accusations Allison Williams says she needs to read Lena Dunham’s memoir before “I say anything about” her accusations regarding Adam Driver’s behavior on the set of “Girls.”Williams also adds that she and Dunham “love each other” and share a “lifelong bond.” pic.twitter.com/j7jFxon83D— Variety (@Variety) April 14, 2026 “Girls” co-star Allison Williams was asked about Driver’s alleged behavior at a recent event. She told Variety that she has a “lifelong bond” with Dunham, adding, “We love each other” before sidestepping the allegations. “I don’t. I also just got to the table read of the pilot in the book,” Williams said. “I was just saying that the most surprising thing was, almost, I thought that she was gonna write that I was 40 minutes late, and then I saw the word ‘early,’ and I was like, ‘That’s more on brand.’ But, no, I need to read it before I say anything about it.” Lena Dunham Says She Hasn’t Talked To Adam Driver Since ‘Girls’ Wrapped MEGA “Girls” wrapped its six-season run on HBO in April 2017, while Driver was in the middle of the success of the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. In an excerpt of the book obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Dunham claims that she has not spoken to the “Marriage Story” actor since filming wrapped. “In the car, he held my hand in silence,” Dunham said, explaining that he and his wife, Joanne Tucker, lived “directly across the street” from her. She wrote, “When we reached our block, he took me in his arms. I let him kiss my cheek, my forehead. ‘You, too,’ I warbled. ‘I know we’ve had our hard moments, that we are really different people. Aaron Carter’s Mom Launches GoFundMe For Singer’s Walk Of Fame Star

Aaron Carter‘s mother, Jane Schneck, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to apply for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The effort aims to honor the late singer, who died in 2022, celebrate his contributions to entertainment, and give fans a meaningful way to recognize his legacy. Schneck’s fundraising effort comes shortly after she lost a legal battle to block the closure of Carter’s estate. Aaron Carter’s Mom Aims To Raise $85,000 MEGA Aaron Carter’s mother, Jane Schneck, is raising funds on GoFundMe to apply for her son’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As she told TMZ, Carter “would’ve loved” having a star. Schneck shared with the outlet that she recalls visiting Hollywood Boulevard when Aaron was about 12 years old and telling him, “You’re going to be there someday,” to which the young singer replied, “Yeah.” Moreover, she said L.A. holds plenty of cherished memories of the time she spent with her son. According to Schneck, Aaron’s siblings, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, and Aaron’s twin sister Angel, support the fundraising effort. The 2026 Walk of Fame application deadline is May 15 and comes with an application fee of $275. The selection criteria include professional achievement, community contributions, and longevity in the business. The Selection Committee then chooses up to 30 of the “most qualified artists.” If selected, a sponsorship fee of $85,000 must be paid for the creation, installation, and maintenance of the star. Jane Schneck Lost A Legal Battle Over Her Son’s Estate River / MEGA In February, Schneck filed court documents claiming that Aaron’s former fiancée, Melanie Martin, illegally withdrew about $24,000 from her son’s account. Martin, on the other hand, said she had joint accounts with the late singer and denied doing anything illegally. The two parties battled in court over what remained of Carter’s estate before his death. Schneck fought to keep her son’s estate from closing, but according to reports, Aaron was in debt at the time of his death. A judge ruled Aaron’s estate “insolvent,” which means his debts exceeded his assets. As reported by The Blast, the non-cash assets were awarded to Martin for her and Aaron’s son, Prince Lyric, who was born in 2021. Aaron Carter Once Applied For Emancipation MEGA Aaron began his professional music career at 7 years old, releasing his first album in 1997 when he was just 9. In the years following, he sold millions of albums worldwide and cemented himself as a teen heartthrob in the early 2000s. In 2003, at 15 years old, Aaron filed for legal emancipation from his parents, claiming that his mother, who served as his manager alongside his father, mismanaged his finances and withdrew more than $100,000 from his accounts without his knowledge. In January 2024, the issue was resolved, with Schneck saying, “I’m looking forward to putting my family back together and
