Think PlanetRadisson Hotel Group will transition to Net Zero by the year 2050. This will be achieved through the adoption of sustainable construction standards, renewable energy, and resource-efficient operations. Verified Net Zero is a practical and scalable program for reducing carbon emissions across the portfolio of hotels. The following are key milestones:23% reduction of emissions intensity per square meter from the baseline for 2019.
The total emissions of Scope 1 and Scope 2 decreased by 6% compared to 2019 (24%) while the portfolio increased by 20%
78 hotels are now using 100% renewable electricity and there are plans to expand the use of renewable energy sources.
The 2025 report is a significant step forward in transparency, accountability, and transparency. It is the Group’s First Responsible Business Report, aligned to the European Union’s Voluntary Sustainability reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), based on a dual materiality approach, which identifies and manages the key environmental, social and governance impacts, risk and opportunities.
