At dusk guests are taken to Taro Village where a community conservation initiative is working to restore freshwater habitats and clean-farmed paddy fields, as well as unlit corridors which fireflies rely on. The work is successful. Fireflies are returning to landscapes that were once affected by chemical farming or artificial light. The next morning, guests will experience A Soul Reborn at the sacred Wos River Temple in the center of the camp. This water purification ritual is rooted in devotional practices passed down through generations. It was built around the principle that a building must honour its landscape, not replace it.
