ABC News reports that the Drug Enforcement Administration is now involved in investigating Hayden Panettiere’s death.
According to TMZ, the DEA has joined forces with South Carolina’s Greenville Police Department as well as its local coroner’s office.
Panettiere died Sunday night at age 36. Official cause of death is still unknown. The official cause of death has not yet been determined.
Online tributes poured in after the news of Panettiere’s death. Jack Coleman shared a touching tribute to Panettiere on Instagram on Wednesday. He played her father in “Heroes”.

She compared childhood fame trauma to Chronic Traumatic Emephalopathy (CTE), which is a brain disorder caused by repeated head hits.
She wrote: “The world doesn’t know what to do with the former child actors.” We are kids when people want to protect us. Professionals when they wish to make money from us. And spoiled stars when we show signs of both. Early fame can be compared to CTE. As a diagnostic tool. To think about repeated impacts. Now we have a language to describe youth sports, including helmets and protocols. Parents are also concerned about concussions. We have no words to describe what can happen when adult pressures, stress, criticism, or rejection become part of the fabric of childhood.

Roger Goodell wants to make international expansion the NFL’s legacy. The commissioner is always talking about this topic, even though more and more overseas games are being scheduled. Goodell, who was recently asked about the potential of international expansion on a permanent basis (i.e. His response was crystal clear.

Goodell stated that “at some point there will be NFL clubs outside of the USA.” I have no doubt this will one day happen.
Goodell was clear that he wanted to see “NFL Teams outside of the USA.” This, he said, would not be a rebooting of NFL Europe or an attempt at a halfhearted launch of the sport overseas, but instead a full-on assault with real teams competing in the major competition. It raises a number of questions regarding international travel, schedule feasibility and the competitive balance, which are long-standing issues when it comes to putting teams overseas. That and the assumption that fans will be interested and attend games other than once-a year spectacles.
We’ll look at which cities are the best for an expansion. And we will rank all of those that could be a possible location for a new team.
No. 1: Toronto — Canada
Canada is at the top of this list, as it has supported a separate American football league in Canada since 1958. It is not the goal to replace the CFL, but to allow it to act as an incubator and feeder for talent.
Toronto has no travel issues. It’s tricky to figure out their place in the divisional hierarchy. It is obvious that the AFC East would be the best solution, adding the Miami Dolphins to the division. The AFC East would be a real Northeastern Division, with Toronto and Buffalo located just a few feet apart.
No. No. 2: Mexico City
Mexico City is the perfect western team for a 2-team slate. Since a long time, the NFL has been running games in Mexico. They have received an incredibly positive reception. It would make sense to place a Mexico City franchise in the NFC West where they could develop a rivalry with the Los Angeles Rams.
Mexico City is appealing because it is not a complicated place to travel. Mexico City has international customs and immigration, but it’s not a journey that’s going to be exhausting for the team.
No. No. 3: London, England
Bring out your old, tired Jaguars jokes. London is not a likely destination for a new team, but it makes sense to expand. Wembley Stadium, as well as Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have infrastructure that is ready to move a team in.
Travel is the big problem. The travel from California to London would be unfair for a London-based team, as well as its rivals. It takes 13 hours to travel between the two. We would also need to consider the team that is traveling to London to play. This can perhaps be mitigated with homestands and long road trips, but it’s still a concern about how to fit London in a division. This is not an easy task because the NFC East has a long history and should be respected.

No. 4: Munich — Germany
The NFL made a smart decision by choosing Munich to be its German headquarters, instead of Berlin. Fans have enjoyed the NFL matches played in Munich, which has an even greater reputation as being a sports-crazed city.
London has many of the same problems, but they are magnified by a couple degrees. Travel is expensive and it’s hard to understand how these people fit in with divisions. It would seem the most logical thing to do if a European Division was created, but it could take decades.
No. 5: Rio de Janeiro — Brazil
It’s been a while since the NFL attempted to play games in Brazil, but it is a mess. The socioeconomic problems in Brazil are deep-seated and it’s difficult to see how NFL teams and players could guarantee player safety.
No. 6: Melbourne — Australia
It’s true that the Australian season will begin this year. But putting down a team there would be so stupid, it isn’t even worth talking about. Travel is impossible and the weather is another issue. The majority of the football season for a team in the Southern Hemisphere is played in summer. Even though Australia loves football, it would not make sense to play the majority of their season in Summer.

Paige Bueckers is the main character in the third episode of the new Apple TV docuseries about the UConn women’s basketball team that Geno Auriemma built.
The first two episodes, “The Dynasty UConn Huskies”, which will debut on streaming services this Friday, August 21, detail the rise of the show and rely heavily on archive footage. The third and final episode focuses on the Huskies 2024-25 campaign, where Bueckers led Azzi Fudd to the 12th National Championship.
It wasn’t an easy task to get UConn on top of the women’s basketball mountain. The series’ filmmakers delved into the dynamic of Bueckers’ push and pull with Auriemma. They looked at how they didn’t talk to each other in weeks during one season and the way Auriemma confronted Bueckers in front of her team after UConn lost to Tennessee. Bueckers described the film session as “devastating”, and asked if UConn was still her home.
