NewsNation reports that jury selection has begun in the trial for Duane Davis (aka Keffe D) who is charged with the 1996 murder of Tupac. Ronald “Money B”. Brooks, who was a friend of Tupac’s before his fame grew, appeared on “Jesse Weber Live”. He reflected on the legacy his pal left behind and shared his theory about who shot Tupac.
Money B believes that the shooter is dead.
He said that the streets had been talking for years, and Keffe D’s nephew Orlando Anderson has also long been identified as the shooter. However, he stressed that he did not have firsthand information. He also said that he believes others, including other agencies, may have played a part in the death of Tupac and allowing the shooter to escape.
The prosecution claims that Davis didn’t pull the trigger but rather planned the Las Vegas Strip drive-by shootout, in part as revenge for an altercation involving Davis’ nephew. Davis has not pleaded guilty. Davis’ attorneys claim that his previous admissions in interviews with police, documentary, and memoir were made to get money or attention.
Tupac’s musical career began in what country?
Shakur got his start with Digital Underground in the early 90s. He started as a backup dancer and roadie before taking the microphone. Money B described Shakur as compassionate and intensely motivated.
He said that Shakur’s “work ethic” was unlike anything he had ever seen. Shakur, he added, was raised to “question authority”, and wanted to do good for his community.
Money B stated, “I think, had he lived today, his activism would have continued.”
Does the East Coast rap war with West Coast play any role in Tupac’s death?
Money B rejected also the notion of an East Coast/West Coast Rap feud. He explores this theory in his forthcoming memoir “A D.U. “Party Don’t Stop” will be released in October.
The magazine’s coverage, he said, turned an argument between two individuals into a manufactured rivalry. It was all a concoction. He said, “It was all promoted.” “That is what killed Tupac.”

TMZ reports that Jenna Jameson has married her partner, Milagros ocampo.
Jenna married Ocampo, a voice-actor, in Miami, Florida on July 25th, 2026. They had obtained a marriage certificate several weeks prior.
They began dating just a few weeks after Jenna, who was now divorced from Jessi and is now an entrepreneur, filed for divorce. Jenna Lawless and Jessi Lawless were married on May 20, 2023. They separated in April 2024, less than one year after their marriage.
Jessi filed an annulment claiming that Jenna had entered the marriage on false pretenses. She claimed Jenna promised to be free of debt, and other promises.
Jessi claims Jenna did not disclose that she had a tax debt of $500,000 before the couple said “I Do.” Jessi said Jenna also promised to remain sober but didn’t follow through.

Travis Barker opens up in a way that has never been seen before.
Blink-182’s drummer Travis Barker stars in a new Hulu document, “Travis Barker – Louder Than Fear,” which is now available. The documentary covers everything, from his nearly fatal plane crash of 2008, to a “terrifying surgery,” Kourtney Kourtney’s miscarriage and their IVF journey.
Taylor Hawkins (late Foo Fighters drummer) made a posthumous appearance in the documentary. He recalled meeting Barker as a youngster.

Taylor Hawkins gave Barker early encouragement
Hawkins, who died in March 2022 at the age of 79, recalled meeting Barker in his “humble origins” when he was picking up trash in Laguna Beach.
Hawkins remembered that “he was literally a garbage man” and “just trying f-king to make something happen.”
Hawkins and Barker first met when Barker, “just a child,” was playing drums in the punk band Feeble. Foo Fighters’ drummer said that those who knew Barker well were aware of his greatness.
He recalled his thoughts at that time. “It felt like, ‘Oh, you are going to get picked up eventually by a new band – and you will become the star of the band’.”
Hawkins and Barker were close friends over the years. In fact, the Blink-182 drummer got a tattoo of a hawk in memory of his friend after his tragic death.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote that Hawkins had given him “so many hope and determination” when he was just starting out in his career.
Barker was addicted to opioids and took ’20-30 pills per day’
Tom DeLonge, Barker’s Blink-182 guitarist revealed in the documentary that Barker had always been afraid of flying. This was even before he nearly died in a plane crash in 2008.
He developed a long-term addiction to opioids because of his fear. Since then, he has become clean.
Barker said that his friends “knew how much I hated being on airplanes and gave me a medication to ease my anxiety.” He went from “taking one or two pills, such as OxyContin” before a plane flight, to “needing them to function.”
Barker claimed that at his peak of addiction, he had a “security guard” watching him 24 hours a days whose only job was to “make sure that I was breathing.”
Shanna Moakler, who was married from 2004 until 2008 to Barker, chimed in to share her experience dealing with his addiction.
The model shared that when he told her, “I sometimes take 20-30 pills per day,” she recalls thinking “How is he alive?”
Moakler, Barker and their two children were born during the marriage: Landon (son) and Alabama (daughter). He is also the stepfather of Atiana Moakler’s daughter with her ex Oscar De La Hoya.
Alabama said “the roof is on flames” before Barker’s plane crash
Barker suffered a critical injury in a plane accident in September 2008. Two pilots were killed, as well as his assistant Chris Baker, and Charles “Che’ Still, whose job was to protect him. Barker, Adam “DJ AM”, Goldstein and his personal assistant Chris Baker were the two survivors of the six passengers.
Barker was on his way to Van Nuys from Columbia, South Carolina when the accident occurred. As the private plane left Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Barker was caught in flames.
Barker remembered onscreen that his daughter Alabama was “hysterically” crying, saying “the roof is on fire and it will come off.” Her eerie remarks were, Barker said, “just the strangest thing.”
Before the accident, he told cameras that his daughter cried for “two straight hours after I left” before it occurred.
Barker addressed Alabama’s prediction on the August 10th episode of “On Purpose with Jay Shetty”, a podcast.
I asked my manager if it was too late for me to leave. He remembered thinking, “I don’t need to do it.” He said, “Bro, this is too late to cancel.” So I flew out.
In the accident, 65 percent of his body had been burned.
The documentary featured Dr. Peter Grossman of Grossman Burn Center. He revealed that Barker had “extensive” burns and was in “really bad shape” after his plane crash.
He said that he was concerned about the drummer’s survival.
Barker said that at the time, he “really didn’t understand the severity” of the situation.
There was talk about amputating my leg. He recalled that 65 percent of his body had been burned. After spending three months at the hospital, he underwent “27 operations.”
Barker suffered from a’survivors’ guilt and was with his children ‘everywhere.’
Goldstein, who died one year following the crash of his plane, overdosed on drugs in August 2009. Barker stated in the documentary that it was “beyond difficult” to talk to anyone after the death of his friend (the other survivor from the plane crash).
The musician recalled thinking, “I felt as if I were in “Final Destination” and that I was the next,” at the time. He admitted to feeling “definitely’ survivor guilt.
Barker also remembered a conversation that he had before Goldstein’s passing. He recalled him saying: “I don’t feel I have much to do in life, and that’s really the f-king thing with me.” “You’ve got children, and you have a lot of things to live for.”
These words stayed with Barker a very long time.
I would go to sleep in Landon and Alabama’s beds. “I would sleep in Landon’s bed, and then Alabama’s,” said the man.
The best thing for my recovery was to be with my kids. “[My children] were my best recovery aid.”
Kourtney was attracted to him by ‘watching’ him as a dad
Barker also discussed how, in 2021, he began a relationship with Kourtney, his wife today.
The singer recalled that he lived next door to the reality star and they spent their holidays together. Kardashian already had three children — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — from her ex-Scott Disick.
Kardashian added that she and her family had carved pumpkins, made gingerbread homes, and celebrated Christmas with their children.
The actress also said that seeing Barker’s children “always attracted [her]” to him, as “I got to know his true values.”
The miscarriage of Kardashian left them ‘devastated.’
After six months of dating, Kardashian became pregnant. The two couples were “so pleased.”
The doctor told us that Tulip was not a boy, but a female.
Kardashian added, “When the baby died, we were distraught. For days, we cried in bed. “All we wanted to do was have a child together.”
Kardashian claimed that IVF “messed” with her mental state
After the miscarriage the couple decided to try again for a child. Kardashian was only 41 when she miscarried.
She said that “it was so hard” on her body.
The Kardashians tried five times to get pregnant using in vitro fertilisation over an eight-month period. Each time, it failed.
She confessed, “It affected me mentally.” I remember saying to Travis that I couldn’t continue. ‘”
She and Barker announced in May 2023 that they had “officially finished” IVF, and wanted to have a natural conception.
Kardashian claims that she said to him: “If God is storing a child for us, then it will naturally happen.”
Kardashian underwent a “terrifying” surgery during her second pregnancies
Kardashian became pregnant in 2023 and revealed her pregnancy during the Blink-182 concert held in Los Angeles in June.
She said that due to Barker’s trauma, he “was really worried about the entire pregnancy.”
They discovered that the lungs of their baby were filled with fluid when Kardashian was 7 months pregnant and Barker on tour. Kardashian required “urgent surgery to drain the fluid”
She said that it was “terrifying” to have the surgery. Barker, who cancelled four of his shows, “came and laid down with me at the hospital and made sure everything was okay.”
Rocky was born one month after the birth of their daughter.
Kardashian saw the dead mother of Barker
Another part of the documentary shows Kardashian encouraging Barker, who had been unable to fly for a while. In another part of the documentary, Kardashian spoke about encouraging Barker to fly again.
They did “breathing work” to relax when Kardashian and Barker booked flights to Mexico for 2021, marking Barker’s first flight after the 2008 plane crash.
Kardashian said that during her breathwork, she saw his mother and heard, “Thank you for caring for my son.”

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County Grand Jury has indicted Nick Reiner for murder in the deaths of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner. They also allege that he waited in anticipation before attacking his parents.
On July 20, the grand jury returned its indictment, after meeting secretly. It was unveiled on Wednesday when Nick Reiner, 32, entered a plea of not guilty.
Rob Reiner was a Hollywood legend, director and actor. His wife was a producer and photographer. They were both stabbed in the home they shared in Brentwood, an upscale area of Los Angeles, on December 14. Nick Reiner, a director, actor and Hollywood luminary was immediately arrested. He was charged with murder two days after.
Grand jury indictment represents a significant step towards trial. It allows the prosecution to bypass California’s pre-trial hearing process where all evidence must be publicly presented.
As an accusation, lying in wait is when a suspect hides or awaits victims to surprise them. It’s meant as a way to demonstrate premeditation. Reiner would be eligible for death penalty if a jury found that he lied in wait and convicted of murder. However, prosecutors have not decided whether they will seek the death sentence.
In a press release, Nathan Hochman, Los Angeles County’s District Attorney said: “This was an act of betrayal from someone loved and trusted even by those he was accused to killing.” We hope that a grand juror’s indictment will help us get closer to justice and trial.
Indictment unveiled in secret case gives little new information
Both sides have been remarkably quiet about the motives of both parties.
The Los Angeles County Chief Medical Examiner told The Associated Press that he wanted to make the autopsy reports available, but a judge’s order prevented him.

Prosecutors have stated without elaboration that since December, the parents had been stabbed. In the indictment, there is a specific allegation that a deadly weapon was used — a blade — which could lead to an increased sentence.
Nick Reiner is charged with attempting to obtain trust funds
Reiner, who is currently seeking money that has not been paid to him from the trust fund his parents set up for him and claims he requires it in order to defend himself.
Reiner claimed in a petition to the court that trustees, who manage the fund, have refused it without any legal basis. Legal filings state that the money would have been given to Nick Reiner, even if both his parents had lived. According to the petition, the trust is worth at least $1.5million in assets. However, trustees refused to reveal the exact figure.
“Nick was devastated to learn of the death of his parents. He loved them.” The petition states that the truth about their fate is not in question.
Reiner is looking to hire Alan Jackson back, the high-profile criminal lawyer who represented him initially before Reiner’s siblings refused to pay for his defence and an appointed public defender was hired.
Next week, a hearing will be held on the petition.
Reiner’s lawyer, the LA County Public Defender’s Office (LA County Public Defender’s Office), declined to make any comment about the charges.
The grand jury is a secretive process
California’s prosecutors have the option to charge an accused and then take their case through a preliminarily hearing. This is a trial-in-miniature where all evidence and testimony are publicly presented and a judge determines if it will go forward.
They can also use a secret grand jury in order to complete the process. The grand jury can be indicted secretly after public charges are filed. This creates a completely new case.
Rob Reiner has had a prolific career both as an actor and a director
Rob Reiner started out as an actor in the TV show “All in the Family” as Michael “Meathead Stivic,” the liberal in-law of a conservative, bigoted Archie Bunker played by Carroll O’Connor. Reiner received two Emmy Awards and a nomination last month for his role as a guest on the TV show “The Bear.”
His work includes some of the best and most memorable movies from the 1980s and 1990s. He directed “Stand By Me”, “A Few Good Men”, “This Is Spinal Tap” and “When Harry Met Sally …”, during which production he met Michele Singer. The couple married soon after, and were happily married for over 36 years.
Nick Reiner is the second child they have together. His father and he co-wrote “Being Charlie,” a 2015 film that was partially based on his son’s struggles as a teenager with homelessness and addiction.
In April, his older brother Jake Reiner said that losing both parents while having his younger brother in the middle of the situation was “a nightmare that’s too devastating to understand.”

Kourtney Kourtney and Travis Barker had to endure a medical ordeal prior to the birth of their son Rocky Barker.
They also shared details of the emergency surgery Kardashian had to undergo seven months after she became pregnant with her son, Rocky. The doctors found that Rocky’s lungs filled with liquid.
Barker shared that he was on tour, and was in Europe, in the Hulu film Travis Barker: louder than fear, when describing how he received a call from Kardashian to inform him of this diagnosis. She says: “Trav, my doctor told me that the baby’s lungs were filled with fluid.”
Blink-182’s drummer said that doctors had to “drain the fluid out of his lungs” by inserting a needle into her stomach.
Kardashian added, “It’s terrifying to go in for surgery.” He cancelled four shows and just stayed with me at the hospital to make sure everything was okay.
