Phil Dunster’s Jamie Tartt is gone, but not forgotten, in “Ted Lasso” Season 4 — and in Episode 2, now streaming on Apple TV, the M.I.A. striker’s whereabouts are finally revealed.
When we last saw Jamie in the Season 3 finale, he had come a long way from the arrogant footballer introduced in Season 1. But all that personal growth wasn’t enough to win Keeley back. When he and Roy showed up at her front door and asked her to choose between them, Keeley chose… herself.
More importantly, Jamie had finally begun repairing his relationship with his father, James, who was shown thriving in rehab after years of addiction and abuse.
But Jamie’s future with AFC Richmond remained unknown… until now.
Our first indication that Jamie had left Richmond came in the Season 4 premiere, when Ted entered his bedroom, littered with Greyhounds memorabilia. Among the items spotted on his desk was an article by Trent Crimm, formerly of The Independent, with the headline “Gracias, Jamie Tartt.”
We finally get a definitive answer in Episode 2, during Ted’s first press conference as coach of AFC Richmond’s women’s team. Though Ted is there to discuss his new squad, reporters can’t resist asking about the men — including whether they’ll make it back to the Champions League.
Then, a journalist dressed suspiciously like Paddington Bear asks the question we’ve been waiting for: “What are your thoughts on Jamie Tartt leaving Richmond to play for Barcelona this season?”
“Never easy saying goodbye to a player,” Ted responds, “but I think he’s gonna do bueno.”
And there’s our answer: Jamie left Richmond to play for FC Barcelona. (As for Phil Dunster, he’s currently starring opposite Steve Carell on another Bill Lawrence comedy, HBO’s “Rooster,” which was renewed for Season 2 and returns in 2027.)
At the end of Season 3, only the fate of Toheeb Jimoh’s Sam Obisanya had been confirmed, with an epilogue of sorts revealing that he achieved his lifelong dream of representing his home country of Nigeria on the international stage, finally earning the national team call-up that Edwin Akufo had tried to deny him. But whether the rest of the Greyhounds would remain… well, Greyhounds, was TBD.
Though we don’t see any of them in the flesh in Season 4, Episode 2, Ted’s return to Nelson Road — and, more specifically, his return to the men’s locker room — reveals which players remain on the team.
Most importantly, Isaac McAdoo is still a Greyhound. In the Season 3 finale, the team captain came through with the penalty kick of his career, driving the ball through the net to tie the match against West Ham United. Richmond went on to win the match, but ultimately finished second to Manchester City in the Premier League.
McAdoo’s name is still displayed above his No. 5 shirt, confirming that he remains with Richmond. Other familiar names seen include those of striker Dani Rojas; goalkeepers Thierry Zoreaux and Tom O’Brien; right back Arlo Dixon; center backs Jan Maas, Tommy Winchester, and Paul Reynolds; center midfielder Moe Bumbercatch; left midfielder Richard Montlaur; and right midfielder Sasha Kukoč.

Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham have made a rare public appearance as a couple.
The pair, who have been together since 1986, were spotted together at Navy Pier in Chicago ahead of the 40th anniversary of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” TV producer Jill Van Lokeren, who worked as a senior supervising producer for the daytime talk show, shared a photo on Instagram Aug. 9 showing Winfrey and Graham posing with a plate of fried chicken at the reunion.
“15-year reunion for The Oprah Winfrey Show. The best segment 1 surprise guest showed up. A night of all love and pure joy,” the post’s caption read.
The Emmy-winning host, 72, wore a cream pinstripe blazer and pants with white shoes, while the S. Graham & Associates management firm CEO, 75, donned a classic black suit over a white shirt with dress shoes.
The appearance appears to mark the first time Winfrey and Graham have been publicly photographed together since the Tyler Perry Studios grand opening gala in Atlanta in October 2019.
Oprah Winfrey on marriage, ‘spiritual partnership’ with Stedman Graham
Winfrey and Graham have never married despite being together for decades.
The media mogul has previously discussed her lack of interest in marriage in a 2020 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.
“In 1993, the moment after I said yes to his proposal, I had doubts. I realized I didn’t actually want a marriage. I wanted to be asked,” she wrote. “I wanted to know he felt I was worthy of being his missus, but I didn’t want the sacrifices, the compromises, the day-in-day-out commitment required to make a marriage work. My life with the show was my priority, and we both knew it.”
She added: “He and I agree that had we tied the marital knot, we would not still be together.”
Winfrey described their relationship as a “spiritual partnership,” one in which Graham could maintain an identity and purpose outside of being “Oprah’s man.”

Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s widow, Tenisha Warner, is in need of dire financial assistance, according to a GoFundMe created on her behalf.
Tenisha’s close friend, Destiny Rael, created the GoFundMe, noting how Tenisha was left the sole provider for her and Malcolm’s young daughter after the “Cosby Show” alum tragically died in July 2025.
“I have watched Tenisha spend this year grieving the love of her life while honoring the promise they made to each other, to homeschool their nine-year-old daughter,” Rael wrote. “Every single day she shows up for her child as though her own world had not fallen apart, and still makes sure breakfast is on the table.”
She shared that the house Tenisha and the late actor shared unexpectedly flooded and she’s had to rebuild. She also referenced Tenisha’s court battle with her mother-in-law, Pamela Warner, over his finances.
“Every room holds their memories, with no space to truly mourn, because the demands have never paused: legal matters that began within weeks of Malcolm’s passing, financial weight carried alone, a house to put back together, and their daughter to care for every single day,” Rael wrote.
“She has stretched every resource she has and borrowed from people who love her just to keep one foot in front of the other.”
According to Rael, Malcolm never signed his updated estate plan that would have provided for Tenisha and their daughter — who has never been publicly identified — before he unexpectedly drowned while the family was on vacation in Costa Rica. Tenisha also stepped back from her career as a doctor of psychology to be a stay-at-home mom, leaving her without an income.
“As a single mom now, Tenisha carries the cost of resolving Malcolm’s estate alone because asking for help does not come naturally to her,” Rael wrote. “That is why the people who love her have launched this campaign: to help Tenisha honor Malcolm’s wishes and his legacy while providing stability for their daughter, his only child, and the family he loved most.”
“The funds will help ease the financial strain, cover the expenses she is now facing, and provide security for Tenisha and her daughter as they work toward resolving Malcolm’s affairs,” she added.
Last month, Tenisha filed a lawsuit against Pamela — who is the trustee of the Warner Family Trust — over a prenuptial agreement dispute. The suit claimed that Tenisha is entitled to $1.2 million, which is what Malcolm allegedly promised her in their 2022 prenuptial agreement, per TMZ.
Tenisha told Page Six in a statement about the lawsuit, “For the last year, I have attempted to privately settle my beloved husband’s complicated estate and honor his last wishes. Malcolm had every intention to provide for our nine-year-old daughter and me.”
According to Tenisha, the actor was “close to finalizing” a new estate plan to replace the plan created in 1996 “when he was 26 years old” — 20 years before they met and well before they welcomed their daughter.
“Sadly, he was unable to do so before we lost him,” she said. “I have been struggling to care for our daughter as a single mom and now as her sole provider. Legally, I had no choice but to take action to protect our rights before any potential statute of limitations expired.”
Malcolm died after being “caught by a high current” at Costa Rica’s Playa Grande beach in Cahuita, Limón. He was declared dead at the scene after paramedics performed CPR on him.
He was 54 years old.

As part of Billboard China and QQ Music’s recent global campaign, Chinese singer Liu Yuning reached a new milestone with his latest single “JUMP,” earning a series of featured promotional opportunities.
The track sees Liu Yuning teaming up with J Balvin on a cross-cultural collaboration that blends rock with traditional Chinese instruments, including the pipa, guzheng, erhu and Tang-style drums. Combined with Ning’s energetic rap delivery, “JUMP” — which interpolates Van Halen’s Billboard Hot 100-topping hit from 1983 — creates a seamless meeting point between Eastern and Western musical influences.
At the same time, Ning is steadily unveiling his long-awaited second solo album, Liu Yuning’s, his first full-length project in five years. Rather than releasing the album all at once, he has chosen a track-by-track rollout, with nine songs available so far.
Among them is “Not Too Late,” released earlier this year, which offers one of the album’s most intimate moments. Written and produced by singer/songwriter Penny Tai, the warm rock ballad reflects on the emotional weight that comes with life in the spotlight. Its lyrics capture feelings of exhaustion, misunderstanding and self-doubt, while ultimately delivering a message of resilience and hope. Instead of dwelling on hardship, the song becomes an invitation to rediscover inner strength.
The album’s more recent releases, “Door” and “I Want,” showcase two contrasting emotional landscapes. “Door” turns inward, pairing restrained vocals with an enveloping arrangement to convey isolation, uncertainty and quiet introspection. In contrast, “I Want” opens outward. JTT rose to fame playing brainy and adorable middle child Randy Taylor on Home Improvement starting in 1991. His big-screen roles that decade included voicing young Simba in The Lion King (though that’s not him singing) and starring with Brad Renfro in 1995’s Tom and Huck and Devon Sawa in 1997’s Wild America.
