Rhea Ripley is the WWE Women’s Champion but she’s out due to an injury which required surgery. The company has decided that she’s been out for long enough to have a ladder match at SummerSlam with five competitors. Chelsea Green was the unexpected winner and received a rousing ovation at the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis.
It was a ladder match, and she managed to escape the battle unscathed. This was not true of her match on this Friday’s SmackDown in Philadelphia.
Bryan Alvarez reports on F4WOnline.com, that Green suffered an injury during the tag-team match she played with United States Champion Tiffany Stratton, against Fatal Influence. Alvarez continues, “We don’t yet know what the injury is but we hope she will not be out too long.”
WWE and Green have not publicly addressed the issue as of this date.

Scott Eastwood tells the truth about his father’s request to a famous actor on a film set.
In a recent podcast interview, the actor, 40, said that everyone on set has “a great deal of respect” towards his father Clint Eastwood and that “he never raised his voice” on the set.
Then he shared “a legendary story” of his father’s time working with Kevin Costner and his reaction when he refused to leave the trailer. He added, “I am going paraphrase this, but I will probably get it wrong.”
He said, “I think Kevin Costner was going through the Kevin Costner ascent to fame, and perhaps a bit of an ego. You know, blah-blah-blah. But they were filming ‘Perfect World’.” He didn’t seem to want to leave his trailer.

Scott said Clint, who was both the director and star of the movie, reacted with “Well then send him home”, even though Costner had been scheduled to appear in the scene that they were working on.
Scott said: “He sent Kevin home and they probably just told Kevin, ‘Hey you’re leaving for the day’.” He asked, “What do you mean that I am in the scene?” “Well, you aren’t anymore.” Clint has changed it.
Scott said that the following day, after he had been asked to leave, “I believe he would be on the set, ready to go.”

Costner stars in “A Perfect World”, playing an escaped criminal who kidnaps a child. Clint plays the part of a Texas Ranger searching for Costner.
Scott has previously talked about how having a celebrity father affected his work ethic, and the way he behaves on set. He noted that he witnessed “some shocking behavior” in this industry as he grew up.
He said, “I was fortunate in a way because I saw it as a child and I could see how bulls —,” behaved on movie sets today,” on an episode in June of “The Joe Rogan experience.”
Eastwood admitted that he saw bad behavior when he visited his dad, the legendary actor. However, the star of “Wrath of Man,” said that his father did a “really good job” of protecting him and his brothers from the dangers of child stardom.

Photos never before seen shed new light on Liam Payne’s last hours… they show the singer in his Buenos Aires Hotel just prior to his tragic fall.
Daily Mail has obtained over 3,000 police documents and photographs from the investigation into the death of the One Direction star in October 2024. These include images that show him drinking and interacting with sexworkers, as well as moving about the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
According to reports, one photo shows Liam swinging on a pole just before he died. Other photos show that hotel staff brought alcohol to Liam’s room, and the next day he met the women at the lobby.
Women allegedly said Liam had sung for them, asked where they could get cocaine and also wanted to help make crack.
As TMZ reported, prosecutors claimed that Liam had spent his last day intoxicating himself and hiring prostitutes before being carried by hotel staff from the lobby to his room.
Later, we reported that the 31-year old appeared to have been trying to leave the hotel as he fell off his balcony on the third floor. An employee of the hotel had called 911 just before the incident to express concern that he might hurt himself due to his balcony.

On Instagram, the 53-year old model and actress shared how her family and she spent “the perfect beach day”.
On her Instagram story, she posted photos of her kids swimming and making sandcastles in the ocean, along with a photo of herself in an mismatched bikini, which had the word “Oh, hey” written on it.
Sims flaunts her abs on the picture in a blue and black bikini, which is accompanied by a chain necklace that has a charm of the letter “M”, black sunglasses, and a hat.

Outside Lands was in darkness, and the crowds were so densely packed that it could have easily been rush hour at BART. A girl wearing sequined eyeshadow told the taller woman next to her, “You better lift me! We’re crowd surfing!” The fog began to reverberate with a distorted song, and then white lights started flashing on the stage. A sudden explosion of pyrotechnics followed. Charli XCX appeared, everyone screamed and raised their phones in order to record what they could not see. She went on to give one of the most memorable headlining performances in recent years.
This is the first appearance of this British pop star at a music festival. It has been just over two years since she last performed at Chase Center in San Francisco, where her multi-Grammy-award-winning album “Brat” was released. The record was a high-energy collection of club songs with a companion remix record. “Brat Summer,” was a huge hit, and the Collins English Dictionary named brat the word of 2024. The lime-green lookalike competition at Fridays on Front Street was a good indication that no one is ready to let go.
Charli, who started making music at 14 as a club kid in Essex and has only just achieved mainstream success was not here to wow her new listeners. Her trademark sunglasses disappeared on Friday, just moments after Baltimore’s hardcore 5-piece Turnstile whipped the audience into multiple moshpits. Her hair was loosely pinned in front of her, she wore a fishnet minidress with a zippered-up leather dress. She was flanked with a guitar, bassist and drummer equipped with synthesizer in front of the mic stand. She began her set with a joke as her song “Rock Music,” which crescendoed to a crescendo over syncopated guitar snippets.

Charli’s “Music, Fashion, Film” album is what Charli would play after the party, when she was still on an adrenaline rush and the rest of the crowd had gone home. The “Brat’s” concept was to create a persona that is out-there and fake it until it sticks, but “Music, Fashion, Film”, peels back the layers and explores where identity ends. The sonics have also changed, as electronic melody has been replaced by live instruments.
She had the idea for this record when she was planning to step back from music. Rumors of an early retirement fueled as she shifted to another creative outlet.
She was already the star in the documentary “Charlie XCX – Alone Together” from 2021. Then, she starred as a mockumentary “The Moment” with a cast of stars ranging Alexander Skarsgard and Kylie Jenner. In addition to creating the music for the controversial adaptation of “Wuthering Heights,” she also acted as a content moderator and created the score to the remake of snuff horror classic “Faces of Death.”

Her career was on the right track. In an Apple Music interview, she told New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe that “Inspiration hit” and she then followed her inspiration. She said, “You never know if that’s the last time it happens.”
Charli XCX has always been interested in experimenting with music, but now she can do it because she is able to afford to. “Music, Fashion, Film”, a celebratory and at times melancholic exercise of gratitude to her mentors, creative collaborators, and even herself, feels like a blank check for Charli XCX. It was sleek and minimalistic, with an album cover that featured a photo of Martin Scorsese as director, Marc Jacobs, the Velvet Underground’s John Cale and a black and white photograph. In a BBC interview, she revealed that it was the first meeting of all three and they were shot within 15 minutes.
She remembered that she thought, “This is a moment in a lifetime.” This is unlikely to ever happen again.

Pitchfork rated it as “Best New Music”, with an 8,2 score, immediately following its release at 9 pm on the 23rd of July. The Piedmont Theater, in Oakland, sold out in the short time that it took for my friend to tell me. Vulture described it as a work of art which successfully conveyed the anti-brat.
Margaret Farrell, from Stereogum wrote: “This is an album of pop music that challenges the listener to feel and think.” It is absurd and existential, sincere and sentimental, silly and devastating. The song winks to Lou Reed, the Teenagers, and has a soundtrack that could be a Sofia Coppola movie.
As she raced to “Yeah,” an oblique romp about the creative process, a drone sounded from the air. It sounds like the kind of song that you might hear on a MySpace page in the summer following seventh grade. She didn’t keep the crowd waiting long for songs from her album “Brat”. These songs made up roughly a third the setlist. They were accompanied by impressive choreography and barricade scale camera work that followed her every move.

She said “This is classic” in one of the rare few remarks she made between songs, before jumping into “Apple”, a song that deals with generational trauma and features a TikTok signature dance. People were swarming around her to do it.
Charli seems most comfortable in these contradictions; carefully crafted lyrics within hit songs with a bouncy beat that conceal a darker undercurrent. She sings in “Wink Wink” about her identity and how people have tried to place her. Card Declined (the track that stands out for me on “Music, Fashion, Film”) explores the idea of consumerism being a way to escape one’s own depression, and the glamourous lifestyle as an excuse. She muses, “I will buy some jewelry. I’ll even purchase a character, or a backstory.” Vincent Cassel stars in “Camera”, a video song that balances both the excitement and the vulnerability of playing a different character.
She sings: “I’m not embarrassed if I fail, but I always crave an experience that makes me feel dangerous.” She sings, “I don’t feel embarrassed even if I suck, I’m always craving an experience that feels dangerous.”
The last song on the album and the final song at the end of the evening seemed to best represent her new age. The “No One Lasts Forever”, which features a recording of an interview that she did with Cronenberg last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, is based on clips from this recorded conversation. The 83-year-old body horror mastermind, known for his films “The Fly” (the first in the “Videodrome” series) and “The Fly,” spoke of a moment when he fell on the street outside his house. She asked him what he was thinking about during what might have been his last moments. Was it the art he created or time spent in front of the camera? He told her that it wasn’t. He told her that it was his formative experiences and people he met.

In the second half, the song explores the fleeting nature of seemingly significant aspects of your life, such as a good album, an important relationship, or people you love. As the spoken-word component took over, I watched to see what would happen. It was interesting to note that the audience began to leave in droves.
They may have been trying to get home before the traffic jam, or they might not understand. Cronenberg’s voice echoing, “They are dead. They are gone. No one lasts for ever.” She stood in the middle of the stage surrounded by backup performers. The audience was stunned to silence. Her expression was one of stoicism. Cronenberg’s voice was eerily heard over the crowd, until it faded to static.
