Natalie Harp Reportedly Ducked White House Security Clearance For Over A Year
The Key Facts
Harp refused to finish the standard security procedure for West Wing staffers, rejecting the process multiple times in more than one year.
Unnamed sources spoke with MS NOW and said that Harp had no reason to avoid the process. They noted, however, that concerns raised by White House officials led Trump to intervene directly, which resulted Harp completing all forms necessary to start a federal background investigation, which ultimately lead to her being granted security clearance.
MS NOW reports that a national security official expressed concerns about Harp’s close proximity to Trump’s residence and the fact she has access to sensitive information more than any other senior White House official.
Harp has a well-deserved reputation for being a “gatekeeper” to Trump. He provides him with poll results and copies of positive news articles.
Forbes has reached out the White House to get a comment.
Important Quote
One of the sources who refused to be named told MS NOW that Harp plays into Trump’s less productive, more problematic side by presenting him with things which haven’t been vetted.
Key Background
Over the weekend, the simmering controversy surrounding Harp’s perceived relationship with Trump exploded when Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) claimed that Trump didn’t want to fulfill his duties as president, but instead wanted to “build his Ballroom” and to travel with Natalie in their “apparently defenseless flying Palace,” which was referring to Air Force One, donated by Qatar, and which had been sidelined earlier this summer due to reported security concerns. Ossoff reaffirmed his remarks this week by saying that Trump is surrounded with “sycophants,” and his aides act as a “security blanket” to make him “feel good about himself”. According to The New York Times, Harp once sent Trump a signed letter, “With my whole heart, Natalie.” Former One America News host, she credited Trump for saving her life by signing legislation that allowed her access to experiential treatment for cancer.

Home Office guide tells UK asylum seekers rape is a crime in the UK
You can now hear Fox News stories!
The British Home Office has published a guide that reminds asylum-seekers not to sexually harass women, but also to not rape them. It notes women’s right to earn their own money and make their own life decisions.
This nine-page guide is one of the many resources available to asylum seekers, but it seems to be aimed primarily at men.
This guide is intended to help those who are arriving from another country understand the expected behavior. Women are free to make decisions about their education, who they want to marry, and travel.

New Report Released by ELON MUSK: POLITICAL PARTIES WHO “TURNED A BLINDE EYE” TO GROOMING GROUPS WILL BE SENTENCED.
The guide says that “women don’t need to ask permission of a man, whether it is a father, sex partner, brother or anyone else” before doing any of the above.
The booklet has sections on gender equality, domestic violence, sex, consent and respect, living in Britain, and getting help.
In the section about domestic violence, you will be warned of jail time and arrest if your partner is physically or emotionally abused.
A spokesperson for the Home Office told GB News that “we expect all visitors to Britain to abide our laws.” If they don’t, there will be consequences including refusal of asylum claims and removal from Britain.

The spokesperson said, “The number of returned asylum seekers has reached its highest level under the current government since 2010.”
In the booklet, asylum seekers should “treat their partner and family members with respect,” let them “make their own decisions,” and never “physically or verbally control or abuse them.”
It states that in public one should not make sexual remarks to people even if it is appropriate. One must also follow or block someone’s path so as to avoid making noises like kissing or whistling.
The section on consent states that consent must be given by both parties without any threat or pressure, and anyone may change their minds at any time.
Rape is when you engage in sexual activity with another person without consent. The document says that rape in the UK is a very serious offense. It could lead to imprisonment, loss of support, accommodation and your asylum application.
According to guidance, anyone under 16 years old is considered to be a child. They cannot consent legally to sexual activity.
The booklet includes a list of hotline numbers to help victims of domestic and sexual abuse.

Apple iPhone 18 event – all the new products expected to launch in September
Apple’s iPhone event could be one of the largest Apple events in recent years. John Ternus will be taking over as Apple’s CEO and we expect a number of new products to be announced.
All of this is even before the much-anticipated launch of Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra, the company’s very first folding phone. The device’s launch date is not yet known, but it will almost certainly be announced soon.
Apple will launch eight devices in total, ranging from new iPhones, upgraded Apple Watches, and smart-home products.
Apple’s event in September is expected to kick off at a certain time.
What is the iPhone 18 Event?
Apple’s iPhone launches have been held in the second half of September for the past few years. They are usually held on Tuesdays. Apple’s 2026 event would therefore normally be held on September 8, Tuesday. Apple may move the 2026 event from Tuesday, September 8 to Wednesday, 9th of September, as the Monday preceding is Labor Day.
Apple has done this in the past because it doesn’t like to make attendees travel during a long holiday weekend. The iPhone 14 was launched in 2013, on September 7th, following Labor Day, which fell on the 5th. This will likely happen again this year.
Pre-orders for iPhones are usually available the Friday following launch. This year, however, it is September 11. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported on Saturday that pre-orders would be moved to September 12th.
Ternus will host this year’s event, which looks to be a great start for his reign.
New iPhones
iPhone 18 Pro Max and Pro
Apple will launch its iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro models this year. Next spring, the iPhone 18e and entry-level iPhone 18 will debut alongside iPhone 18e.
Analysts have estimated that the iPhone 17 Pro family could cost up to $350 more than the iPhone Ultra. The current iPhone 17 costs $1,599. If you stick with the 1TB model, it will cost between $1,849 and $1949. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is likely to cost anywhere between $1,849 – $1949.
We expect the iPhone to receive a number of important updates this year, beyond price. Although the design is likely to remain the same, we can expect to benefit from a larger battery, variable aperture camera lenses, and the A20 Pro chipet.
It is anticipated that the Dynamic Island will shrink further. However, it appears we are still a year away from seeing the much-touted Face ID under display.
iPhone Ultra
It is safe to say that the most important announcement at the event will be the launch of the iPhone Ultra foldable.
According to leaks, it could have a more wide-shaped design. It will be similar in size to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with its 7.8-inch display foldable and 5.4-inch screen cover. When unfolded it could be between 4.5mm and 4.8mm thick, making this one of thinnest iPhones in history.
The rumor is that it will have a 4,883mAh battery, Apple’s C2 modem and the A20 processor. It also has a Touch ID scanner embedded in the power switch. It’s expected that the rear will have two 48MP cameras placed horizontally, like on the iPhone Air. There are also two 24MP front-facing cameras, one per screen.
Apple delayed the release of a foldable iPhone to eliminate the crease on the screen. Whether it has achieved this is yet unknown. Even Samsung and Oppo have had only moderate success despite the long lead times.
The iPhone Ultra is likely to be expensive. It could cost as much as $2500 for the base model. A brand new leak from this week suggests that the iPhone Ultra will not be available immediately, but only in “extremely restricted” quantities.
Keep in mind, the iPhone Ultra may have some tradeoffs when compared to the iPhone 18 Pro.
AirPods Ultra
The AirPods Ultra are somewhat surprising, as according to a Gurman report from a few years ago we didn’t expect them until at least 2027. AppleTrack, the rumor-aggregator site, reported just this week that AirPods Ultra will be launched at the iPhone Event.
These headphones will feature an alleged camera which will allow Siri to see the entire world.
The new Siri, which is a more powerful AI Siri that will be released this fall, would use a Visual Intelligence version to allow you to ask Siri about the environment or receive turn-by-turn navigation.
AirPods Ultra have also appeared in an unreleased video that was buried in macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate. It shows you how to identify real-world objects with them.
Apple Watch 12 or Apple Watch Ultra 4
We know less about Apple Watches than we do iPhones. Apple Watch Series 12 as well as Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be releasing two new models.
Apple has not released many details about its upgrades for this year. Most likely, the biggest upgrade will be a brand new band. Your old band may not work with your new watch.
Apple may offer ceramic cases for the very first time since years. The device should have new fitness and health-related features. WatchOS 27 is expected to bring a new Workout Buddy, AI-based features and improved data tracking. It should also feature better integration of the Siri AI upgrade that we have already seen on the iOS 27 beta.
Smart Home
Apple’s ambitious smart-home plans and the rumours surrounding them should be treated with caution. Apple’s smart home ambitions and the rumors surrounding them need to be taken with a massive grain of salt.
These rumors are more than two-years old and are largely responsible for the promises made by the company about the AI powered Siri.
Apple could finally release the promised chatbot this year, with iOS 27. This year, if it works and is released as promised, Apple Home could be launched.
HomePod Home Hub
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has been a long-time reporter on the HomePod updates rumor. He believes that the new HomePod Mini could be launched this September along with the HomePod Home Hub.
There have been several different versions of the device rumored. One even had a robot arm that cost $1,000. Most commonly, a HomePod Speaker with a touchscreen display the size of an iPad Mini or wall-mounted touchpad is used.
The device will have FaceTime cameras for video calling and sensors that detect presence to start smart home functions.
HomePod mini 2
HomePod Mini could also be released, though it may not offer the same upgrade to Hub. The majority of rumors indicate that the Hub will have a new processor and improved audio.
This one is even further-fetched. The HomePod mini 2 was on our radar at least since 2023. This version was released in 2020 and is due for an upgrade, just like the next model.
Apple TV 4K is scheduled to be released in 2026.
Apple TV 4K has not been updated since 2022, the same as the HomePod Series. It’s long past time for an update, even if that means a faster chip to improve performance.
It was previously suggested that the A17 Pro would be used in the Apple TV, but the A20 is more likely to appear, or if you want to save money, the A19 from last year. It’s also likely that the device will get the N2 chip, which is rumored to provide better Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth.
Siri AI would make the biggest upgrade, as it could allow you to connect your Apple TV with other smart devices. Apple could release a set top box that has a built-in camera. This would enable FaceTime and gesture control.
Are you planning to watch Apple’s next event? Comment below and let me know what device is most exciting to you.

Moscow Gas Stations Reimpose Fuel Limits as ‘Second Wave’ of Shortages Hits Russia
In some areas, fuel purchase restrictions have returned as shortages persist on the market after months of Ukrainian strikes against oil refineries. This is what Russian media calls the “second-wave” of summer’s fuel crisis.
Gazprom has reinstated the purchase limit of 60 liters (16 gallon) for gasoline in Moscow and its surrounding area. Gazprom had eased some restrictions in 13 Russian regions earlier this month. The new limits are a rollback from that.
According to RBC, Tatneft is another large producer that has set a limit of 50 liters (13.5 gallons), of gasoline, and 60 liters, of diesel, per vehicle, across their network of gas station in Moscow.
After months of Ukrainian drone attacks on oil refineries, fuel storage centers and other infrastructure hubs in Russia, dozens of regions are experiencing fuel shortages. Analysts warn that fuel supplies in many parts of Russia will be tight until summer peak travel demand has subsided.
Despite Deputy Premier Alexander Novak’s statement last month, that domestic fuel markets were showing “partial stabilization,” rationing has returned to some areas of the country.
In order to protect the supply, the Russian Government extended an export ban for gasoline and diesel until early next year.
Fuel shortages in Siberia, the Far East and other areas of the country have not fully disappeared, despite the fact that some stations lifted their purchase limits. Annexed Crimea is also still suffering from a severe fuel shortage.
Ukrainian forces continue to conduct long-range attacks against Russian oil installations. Authorities in Bashkortostan reported that a Ukrainian drone had set a part of an oil refining facility on fire. They said they expected repairs to be several days long.
The average gasoline price in Russia increased by almost 20% from the beginning of the year. Since then, the price has fallen to an average national rate of 76.04 Rubles ($3.38/gallon) on August 10.
On Tuesday, Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilyov acknowledged that there are still long queues at gas stations. However, he insisted fuel is available while the government attempts to solve logistical bottlenecks. Tsivilev said diesel is available in Russia “everywhere”.

Trump Fumes At CNN Reporter Who Asked About Natalie Harp
Donald Trump yelled at CNN’s Kristen Holmes when she asked him about his communication with Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea.
On Monday in the Oval Office, Trump defended his relationship with Kim by saying, “I understand [him].” On Sunday, Trump posted on Truth Social that he had ordered the military to decrease joint military exercises between South Korea and North Korea.
Trump slapped her when she tried to follow up on the question. “Quiet, quiet. “You’re being disrespectful to this young man.”
Ryder Williams sat opposite the president in the Oval Office. Williams was holding Nathaniel Rai in his arms, a 10-year old who had been rescued by Ryder Williams from rough waves in Santa Cruz.
Trump asked the boy, “Are you sure she’s disrespectful?” “He understands. Quiet.”
Trump asked Holmes what outlet she worked for. He called it fake news when she replied CNN. Your fake news is you. You are a boisterous, loud person. Fake news is what you are. You’re fake. And you spread fake news.
Holmes is CNN’s Senior White House Correspondent.
Holmes asked Trump earlier in the Oval Office about the comment of Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-GA, who said in an address over the weekend that Trump would prefer to travel with Natalie Harp and build the White House Ballroom than perform his duties as President.
Holmes then asked, “What’s your answer?”
Trump called Ossoff “Pee Wee Herman-like” and defended the ballroom.
In its rapid response, the White House blasted Holmes, calling her “a shameful and humiliating embarrassment for her profession.” She uses the opportunity of hosting a heroic lifeguard at the Oval Office to make a cheap joke about a member of President Trump’s staff.
The White House also wrote in another message to Holmes: “Someday your children will hear about your disgusting, and unhuman question. The children will feel ashamed and sickened by a parent who is so vindictive and callous. It’s quite troubling.”
In a press release, the network stated that “Kristen Holmes was one of the best and most accomplished White House journalists.” She did what she was supposed to do and asked President Obama a relevant, tough and important question in the name of her American audience. It is up to public officials whether they want to criticize reporting that does not meet their standards, but attacking journalists personally for raising a question falls below the position and goes against the values of free media. “We stand behind Kristen, and we reject these accusations in the strongest terms.”
Trump claimed that North Korea’s leader responded to Trump’s request for a dialogue. “I like him. He didn’t like Biden. He didn’t like Obama. He did not like anyone. “But I get along very well with him.” He criticised South Korea, an ally of the United States, for failing to help with the Iran war.

Buc-ee’s to open 6 locations following Arkansas debut
Buc-ee’s, the travel center with the Beaver logo that originated in Texas, opened its first Arkansas store on August 17th.
According to a Bucee’s press release, the location will bring in more than 200 new jobs and occupy 74,000 sq. ft. with 120 fueling station. The company added that employees’ starting wages are “well above the minimum wage”, but didn’t specify how much.

Travel Center, established in 1982, is one of Texas’ most famous exports. Gas stations with sprawling facilities have an almost cult following, largely due to their pristine restrooms and distinctive culinary options.

USA TODAY contacted Buc-ee’s to find out the opening date for each of these Buc-ee’s locations.
Buc-ee’s lawsuits cause controversy
Buc-ee’s trademarks have been the subject of a series of court cases in recent weeks.
Recently, the company filed a lawsuit against Beaver’s Mini Mart. This small corner shop is located in the middle a Beavercreek neighborhood, which is a suburb to Dayton.
According to The Cincinnati Enquirer (part of USA TODAY Network), despite Buc-ee’s mini-mart not having any gas pumps, and being located miles away from the nearest highway, customers could be confused about the logo. It features a beaver smiling, standing proudly next to its name, written in red letters.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said Buc-ee’s could drop their “ridiculous lawsuit” against Beaver’s Mini Mart.
Oliver explained Buc-ee’s practice of suing businesses with cartoon animal logos, even if they are very different from Buc-ee’s trademarked grinning beaver.
The company was challenged to sue the man for launching a line on satirical goods called “Buc Off” with the proceeds being donated to charity. The clothing features an eerie squirrel-like logo that is modeled after the Mr. Nutterbutter cartoon character. It also mirrors Buc-ees’ logo. If any major gas station chains out there have an issue with the new logo or products, and want to involve lawyers in it then what do you think? Oliver said, “Bring it on!”
