The most serious charge against Ortiz, however, is attempted murder. Ortiz was accused of brandishing a AR-15 rifle at Rihanna’s home and firing 10 rounds.

Ortiz faces 13 other felony charges, including 10 for assault with a semiautomatic weapon and 3 for shooting at a occupied dwelling or camper.

The bail amount was initially set at $10 million, but it has now been reduced to $1.875 million. If convicted, Ortiz may receive a life sentence in prison.
