According to a release sent to The Blast by Karol G (real name Carolina Giraldo Navarro), she finished her Coachella set in a pair of custom Reebok boots on April 19. The metallic silver pair is inspired by Reebok’s Freestyle Hi and features a Hi Top silhouette that pays tribute to the ’80s classic.

Karol G’s Freestyle Hi’s were designed in collaboration with The Shoe Surgeon. The Shoe Surgeon is a Los Angeles-based designer who has worked with NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.

Complex published an article about Karol G’s partnership at the Boston-based footwear company in the beginning of the year. In an interview with Complex, the singer opened up about what it’s like to work with a shoe company she has long admired.

“Wearing Reeboks was a big thing at school, and especially this Classic model. It was like having a pair of Reeboks. I remember dreaming of them, imagining what it would be like to finally wear and show them off,” said she.
