Tonight, she’s nominated for her first two Moon Persons – Best Dance (for “Dance …”) and Song of the Summer (“Brand New Chanel$”).
Keep It Bella
Bella Poarch arrived at the VMAs in a deconstructed ensemble featuring lace, ribbons, and an avant-garde bustle, and topped the look off with an otherworldly updo. The Filipina-American TikTok-sensation-turned-pop-star released her debut album, Picnic At The Cemetery, earlier this month.
Queen Chloe
Chloe Bailey won’t have mercy on us with this jaw-dropping look. The singer and Beyoncé protege’s looked like an Etré Art Deco drawing, modernized by exposing her midriff (and bleaching her brows).
Silver Stella
Stella Lefty has been through the internet ringer lately. But for the country-pop artist’s first VMA Awards, where she’s nominated for two Moon People, Lefty decided to keep things pretty elegant. With her hair up in a promlike updo, Lefty chose a silver and white silk dress with a detailed, dripping back that was giving “Love Story” era Taylor Swift.
All Eyes on JoJo
Beach on top, chic on the bottom. JoJo’s look continued the VMA tradition of showing some skin, with a black studded bra and crystal adorned skirt that dusted the tops of her sky-high platforms. Fresh off the New York Fashion Week circuit, JoJo topped the ensemble with sleek ombré hair.
Classic Sienna
Sienna Spiro touched down at the 2026 VMAs looking like an Old Hollywood movie star. Given her love of classic pop and jazz music, the 20-year-old singer’s vintage aesthetic paired well with her penchant for the past.
Outlaw Chic
Orville Peck, who released his new album Mule last week, decided to keep things sleek and country for his turquoise carpet walk. Complete with his signature mask, Peck chose a black cowboy hat and fringed leather jacket for an appropriately outlaw look – but centered it all with a little heart by layering a Keith Haring t-shirt underneath.
Raye of Light
Vocal powerhouse Raye went for a classic and crowd-pleasing look at the 2026 VMAs. The singer wore a crystallized, scoop neck gown and topped it off with a crimson red lip to match her bob. Later tonight, she’ll lead a George Michael tribute performance alongside Sombr and Teddy Swims.
Lady in Red
Sawadika, Lalisa! The K-Pop superstar rolled up to the VMAs in a massive hot red coat and bodycon gown that stood out on the VMAs aqua-toned carpet. Tonight, she’s nominated for four Moon Persons, and will perform her new single “Sawadika.”
Feathered Out
You can always count on Teyana Taylor to bring it on the red carpet. At this year’s VMas, Taylor showed up decked out in an all-black latticed robe featuring massive plumes of feathers along her collar, skirt hem, and wrists. While she’s on presenting duties, she’s also battling it out for Best Collaboration (for “Hard Part” with Lucky Daye).
Goth Star
Is goth fashion back or did it ever really leave? Regardless, Charli XCX is leaning into the trend with this Elvira-inspired black velvet look. The Music, Fashion, Film pop provocateur is up for four awards tonight, including Best Pop (“SS26”) and Song of Summer (“Camera”).
Western Tales
Shaboozey absolutely looked the outlaw that he sings about on his new album, The Outlaw Cherie & Other Western Tales, as he walked the VMA Carpet. Primed to join Gunna for a version of his song “High Noon” on the telecast, Shaboozey looked sleek in a full black leather suit with matching tie. He topped it off, in country tradition, with a big silver belt buckle.
Polka Dot Pantheress
Polka dots are in this year, and PinkPantheress got the memo. The British pop star and producer wore a ruffled maroon dress with oblique dotting. Tonight, she’s nominated for five awards, including Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Dance, all for her mega remix of “Stateside” featuring Zara Larsson.
Swan King
We can certainly count on Troye Sivan to bring the drama, and he delivered tonight. Sivan’s quirky take on the classic tuxedo boasted a draped silk cummerbund with white feathers dripping out from underneath (Bjork’s iconic swan dress would be proud). With a new album, She’s the Best, due in October, Sivan topped the look with a rigid, popped collar.
Cape Crusade
No caption needed here – literally. Adam Lambert never disappoints when it comes to red carpet theatrics, and he arrived with a headpiece shaped into his name (and title of his recent album), inspired by designer Philip Treacy’s Isabella Blow headpiece. He also donned a black opera robe: TBD if he’s planning to unveil whatever might be underneath later.
All Fur
Fur, jewels, a belt with the word “sex” on the buckle: Sombr went all out for his VMA’s outfit, and we’re grateful for it (though he didn’t bother to wear a shirt). At the awards to perform a tribute to George Michael with Teddy Swims and Raye, we can only assume that his choice of accessories is hinting at what songs he might have in store.
Normani Blossoms
Normani never misses with her VMA looks, and this year she arrived shimmering and sleek as if her dress had been poured onto her. With a huge flower sprouting from her shoulder and a flowing black skirt, it was a striking, memorable fashion moment.
Old-School Glamour
South African star Tyla opted for a snakeskin print ‘fit at the 2026 VMAs. Sporting a denim-hued bra and pencil skirt with a classic pair of pumps, she transported us back to the risqué garb of the VMAs in the aughts.
Sleek and Simple
Anything goes at the VMA’s, including rolling down the red carpet in a t-shirt. That’s the look that Teddy Swims, who will be appearing tonight as part of a George Michael tribute with Sombr and Raye, went for: a black tee and crisp black pants. His coral nails served as the only pop of color.
Purse First
Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear kept their looks simple to receive the Video Vanguard award tonight on behalf of Nirvana (though we do love Smear’s little black purse). Nirvana may have been video icons, but they also boasted one of the most memorable performances in the show’s history, bringing down the house with “Lithium” in 1992.
Sister, Sister
Paris Hilton showed up to the VMAs looking like she arrived from outer space in a gladiator style silver get-up and blunt bob. With sister Nicky Hilton at her side, we only have one thing to say about their looks tonight: That’s hot.
One of Wun
Gunna arrived at the VMAs in a sleek beige suit and topped it off with some iced out jewelry. Later tonight, he’ll join country superstar Shaboozey for a performance of their collaborative track “High Noon.”
Hannah and Garrett Forever
Off Campus…and on the VMA turquoise carpet. Fresh from their steamy hit show, stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli went for classic looks: his, different shades of denim on top and bottom with hers, a form fitting black gown. They both topped the outfits with black sunglasses.
Taylor Time
It’s a huge night ahead for Taylor Swift: She’s set to receive the inaugural Artist Director honors, making her the most awarded artist in VMA history. She’ll also premiere her “Patient Zero” video. And though she may take risks in her music and behind the camera, one place she keeps it pretty safe is the red carpet. Wearing a shimmering white skirt over what looks like a black mesh bodysuit, Swift went for elegant over headline-grabbing.

Walmart CEO says retailer won’t use customer data to personalize prices

Walmart is assuring customers it will not use personal data or AI to personalize prices.
In a letter published Friday, Walmart President and CEO John Furner reaffirmed the retail giant’s long-standing “Every Day Low Prices” strategy, saying the company prices “the product, not the person.”
“I’ve heard concerns about companies using that information and technology to charge you more,” Furner said. “I want to tell you where we stand: We price the product, not the person.”
Furner said prices may fluctuate when the cost of goods or transportation changes, but stressed that Walmart will not use a customer’s income, shopping history, urgency or other personal information to set prices.

“We won’t do it,” Furner said. “YOU are at the heart of our WHY and our relationship with you has always been built on trust. For decades, our associates have built that trust, one interaction at a time.”
“So, as technology improves, we’re putting the same attention on trust and serving you as we do when you walk into our stores and clubs.”
Furner also addressed Walmart’s rollout of digital shelf labels, saying the technology is meant to improve price accuracy while reducing the amount of time that employees spend replacing paper tags.
“A shelf price should match what rings up at checkout. Digital shelf labels help us do that more consistently by displaying the right price,” he said. “They also save associates time replacing paper tags.”

Furner added, “It may sound like an easy task – but as someone who has had to change those paper tags by hand over the years, I can tell you it’s a time-consuming and unrewarding task.”
The CEO also detailed Walmart’s plans for artificial intelligence, including its AI shopping assistant, Sparky, noting that the tool is intended to deliver more personalized shopping assistance.
“When you engage with Sparky, that’s an invitation to serve you better, not to use your personal information to set a personalized price. We’ve never used the relationships our associates have with customers to charge more, and we won’t do that with AI,” Furner said.
Walmart said it is making three commitments: it will not set different prices based on who a customer is or the time of day; it will not use information shared through Sparky to raise prices or hide lower-priced options; and it will continue giving customers control over how their personal information is used.

“Our people will continue to oversee pricing, and we’ll monitor and test our technology against these commitments,” Furner said.

Rihanna’s one-year-old daughter cries over five-figure Louis Vuitton bag in must-see video

Rihanna has a daughter already following in her fashion footsteps.
Over the weekend, the “Umbrella” singer took to Instagram and shared a slew of never-before-seen videos of her baby girl Rocki Irish, who she welcomed with partner A$AP Rocky in September 2025.
In addition to the one-year-old, the Fenty founder is also a mom to sons RZA Athelston, four, and Riot Rose, three.
Among the videos is a hilarious clip of little Rocki wearing a leopard print onesie, and she is playing with her mom’s special Louis Vuitton speedy bag in crocodile leather. As soon as Rihanna takes it away, she begins crying, and doesn’t stop until she gets the bag back.
Other videos and photos included Rocki trying on one of her mom’s wigs, at a red carpet wearing a version of her mom’s iconic 2016 Met Gala look, with rollers in her hair, napping, and more.
“Who let me have a daughter, bro?,” Rihanna teased, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with one writing: “She is so lucky!!! Just Imagine having Rihanna singing lullabies to you. Unfair advantage, as others followed suit with: “Please make sure you save all the bags for her. She is coming for EVERYTHING,” and: “In her defense, crying over the bag you want is 1000% warranted,” as well as: “She had real tears about that bag.”

Raoni Barcelos’ coach shares medical update after scary UFC Vegas 121 fight ending

The UFC Vegas 121 main event clash between Raoni Barcelos and Raul Rosas Jr. ended in scary fashion in the fifth round when the Brazilian bantamweight went unconscious for apparent no reason during a clinch exchange. Barcelos was rushed to the hospital for exams after the bout, and his head coach Davi Ramos shared on social media he is now back to his senses.
The UFC released a statement hours after the incident to confirm Barcelos was transported to a Level 1 trauma center for evaluation and was “stable, alert and responsive, with full movement” after a “CT scan and comprehensive assessment” were conducted.
“Raoni is doing well,” Ramos said in Portuguese on a video posted on social media. “He has all his senses, he’s moving his leg, his arm, his hand, he’s conscious, he’s talking, everything is fine with him. He’s undergoing some tests, and pretty soon he’ll be here to talk to you guys.”
“I just wanted to let you know so you can all stay calm,” he continued. “Keep praying for him. He’s undergoing all the tests that are standard in a situation like this. He’ll have to rest because of what happened, but God willing, everything will be fine. He’ll be here with us soon and he’ll be talking to you guys. Thank you to everyone who’s been sending messages, positive energy, praying and keeping all of us in your prayers.”
Barcelos was up in all three scorecards going into the final round, including a 10-8 in round four for one of the judges, meaning he was a little over three minutes away from a decision victory. The loss snapped what would be his sixth straight victory in the UFC.
“We had a great fight,” Ramos said. “We practice a sport that we can’t predict, unfortunately, but we know for sure that we were doing our best. Raoni is a warrior, a phenomenal fighter, and he showed you that with all the technique he has, all the skill and heart he has. He showed everything about where he wants to go, where we all want to go, with all the work we’ve been putting in. Congratulations to him, and thank you all for the messages. Keep praying for him, and pretty soon he’ll be back here with us to put on another great show.”

Offense, defense, coaching report card

Florida football passed its biggest test under first-year coach Jon Sumrall.
The No. 22 Florida Gators (3-0, 1-0 SEC) pulled away in the second half to beat No. 6 Ole Miss 52-28 before 90,683 at The Swamp.
UF beat its highest ranked opponent since knocking off No. 5 Georgia 44-28 on Nov. 7, 2020 in Jacksonville.
The Gators knocked off Ole Miss in similar convincing fashion in a win that returns UF to national relevance. Florida finished the game strong, outscoring the Rebels 35-22 in the second half.
Here’s how UF graded out in the win:
Florida football offense: A
Florida scored 40 or more points for the fourth straight game as offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner’s schemes continue to befuddle opposing SEC defensive coordinators. As expected, Florida was able to run the ball effectively against the Rebels, as Jadan Baugh and Duke Clark both rushed for more than 100 yards. Quarterback Aaron Philo was again solid, completing 16-of-23 passes for 196 yards with one TD passing and one TD rushing. UF overcame losing receiver Vernell Brown III at halftime with a thigh injury. UF got its tight ends more involved in the passing game, as Luke Harpring had two catches for 34 yards and Amir Jackson has two catches for 28 yards and one TD.
Florida football defense: B
It remains a bend-but-not-break defense under Florida football defensive coordinator Brad White. But the Gators got the big takeaway when they needed it, with a Jayden Woods strip sack of Trinidad Chambliss leading to a Myles Graham fumble recovery. UF’s defense was solid early, forcing a turnover on downs and limiting Ole Miss to six points in the field and 0-of-5 conversions on third down. In the second half, Chambliss found his groove. Cornerback Cormani McClain was burned on a 49-yard completion from Chambliss to receiver Deuce Alexander early in the third quarter. But for most of the game, Florida kept Chambliss from making the big plays needed to get Ole Miss within striking distance in the fourth quarter. Safety DJ Coleman recorded his second interception of the season in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Florida football special teams: A
London Montgomery came up with kickoff returns of 41 and 74 yards in the third quarter, setting up short fields on two TD drives. Patrick Durkin connected on a 49-yard field goal to improve on 6-for-6 on field goal attempts for the season. Punter Alec Clark boomed a 70-yard punt late in the second quarter to help flip field position and keep Ole Miss from putting a late score on the board. It remains proof that Sumrall’s emphasis on special teams in practice is paying off.
Florida football coaching: A
Sumrall had Florida ready to play with passion and physicality in UF’s biggest game yet. UF cut down on penalties, an emphasis during the week, and dominated time of possession. UF’s decision to go for it on 4th-and-2 in the first quarter didn’t pay off, but it at least showed that the Gators were going to play aggressively and not settle for field goals in a game they needed to win.

Kirk Ferentz chose to kick a field goal on fourth-and-6, trailing by 5 points, with under 2:40 to go. To make matters worse… Caden Buhr pushed it wide right.
Iowa needs a timely stop now and will need a touchdown to win.

Iowa has it right at the 50 with 5:22 to go, trailing 19-14.

The Michigan offense will need to get out of the shadow of its own end zone after perfect punt coverage by Iowa.

That didn’t take long.
Underwood went deep and hit his favorite target, JJ Buchanan, 49 yards downfield for a touchdown.
The Wolverines went for 2 and came up short on a pass play. That makes it 19-14 Michigan with 11:59 to play.

Iowa takes the lead
Hank Brown to Reece Vander Zee from 16 yards out. Touchdown, Iowa.
The Hawkeyes have their first lead of the game with 14:02 to play at 14-13.
Iowa picked up a key third down on an odd play where DJ Vonnahme came back in from out of bounds to catch a tipped pass.

A big throw and catch from Hank Brown to Tony Diaz gained 32 yards, so Iowa is in Michigan territory after a long day of offensive struggles.
Michigan adds to lead with short field goal
Michigan couldn’t finish the drive in the end zone after having first-and-goal from the 5, but it was still enough to get points on the board.
A 22-yard chip shot field goal split the uprights to make it 13-7 Michigan with 1:29 to go in the quarter.

Hawkeyes punt it back
The turnover on the last series stopped Michigan’s scoring chance, but it will have another one coming up. Michigan takes over at the Iowa 47 after a short punt.

Michigan leads 45-15-4 all-time, but the series has been more competitive in recent years.
Under Kirk Ferentz, the Hawkeyes are 7-9 against Michigan overall and 7-7 in regular season games.
Beating the Wolverines away from Kinnick Stadium has been tricky, however. The last time Iowa beat Michigan on the road or at a neutral site was 2010, when Ricky Stanzi and Derrell Johnson-Koulianos connected for three touchdowns in a 38-28 Hawkeye victory in Ann Arbor.

Michigan won in controversial fashion to open its season, defeating Western Michigan 13-12 on a last-second Hail Mary that was only possible after the video review team added one second back to the clock after the game appeared to be over.
Michigan is led by Kyle Whittingham, who is in his first season in Ann Arbor after 21 years at Utah. Whittingham brought over a few key players from Utah in the offseason, including leading receiver JJ Buchanan (266 yards on 15 catches).
The Wolverines’ defense hasn’t allowed more than 17 points in a game so far. They held Oklahoma to 10 points in a Week 2 matchup.
