Xentra Transport Debuts On-Demand Freight Service Allowing Businesses to Book Cargo Vans and Box Trucks With a Few Clicks

NEW YORK, N.Y., May 1, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Xentra Transport, a same-day courier and B2B logistics company headquartered at 240 W 40th Street in Manhattan, today announced the launch of its on-demand freight service, giving businesses across New York and New Jersey the ability to book a cargo van or box truck for same-day pickup and delivery in just a few clicks.

Image caption: Xentra Transport is a same-day courier and B2B logistics company headquartered in New York City.

The new service is designed to remove the friction businesses traditionally face when arranging same-day freight. Customers select an equipment type, enter pickup and dropoff details, and submit a request through Xentra Transport’s online booking flow. Dispatch occurs in minutes, with drivers assigned to the order and pickup scheduled for the same business day in most cases.

At launch, the service offers two equipment classes. Cargo vans handle parcel volume, retail restocking, and time-critical commercial deliveries. Box trucks handle palletized freight, oversized goods, equipment moves, and full-vehicle hauls. More information is available on the company’s freight delivery page.

Traditional freight brokering can take hours or even days to dispatch a vehicle for a same-day move, particularly across state lines. By collapsing the booking process into a self-service request and dispatching directly from an in-house fleet, Xentra Transport positions the new service as a faster alternative for businesses that need a van or truck moved on short notice.

“Businesses do not have time to call three brokers and wait for callbacks when they need a van moved across the river by end of day,” said Kevin, founder of Xentra Transport. “We built this service so that on-demand freight feels as simple as ordering a ride. A few clicks, a confirmed driver, and a same-day pickup.”

The launch focuses heavily on the New York to New Jersey corridor, one of the busiest commercial freight lanes in the country. Xentra Transport already manages a high volume of New York to New Jersey deliveries each week, and the new on-demand booking service is designed to formalize and accelerate that lane for businesses that need recurring or one-off freight movements between the two states.

Coverage extends across New Jersey, with service available throughout the state’s major commercial markets. Customers requiring freight service originating from or delivering within New Jersey can find route and service information on the company’s New Jersey courier page.

Pricing for the on-demand freight service follows the company’s standardized flat-rate model, with a $125 minimum booking. Quotes are confirmed at the time of booking, and customers receive driver assignment, real-time tracking, and digital proof of delivery through Xentra Transport’s client portal.

Target use cases for the new service include retail and boutique restocking, trade show and event freight, gallery and white glove transport, medical and laboratory courier work, contractor and equipment moves, and recurring B2B routing for businesses with predictable freight needs.

Reiki Master, meditation guide, breathwork facilitator and mother of twins writes the children’s book she wishes she had as a child

LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 1, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — When Ani Lalazarian changed careers in 2020, leaving the fashion world to become an energy healer, breathwork facilitator and spiritual guide, she held tight to one conviction: that children and adults all carry a special light within them—they simply need the tools to find it. Now, Dragonfly Dreams Press, LLC is releasing her debut picture book – “Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love” (ISBN: 979-8218897246 paperback; 979-8218883294 hardcover) – a gorgeously illustrated adventure story that brings those tools directly to the page.

Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love, by Ani Lalazarian
Image caption: Cover, “Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love,” by Ani Lalazarian.

Lalazarian’s path was anything but linear. She spent more than six years as a fashion designer, running her own business before a trip to an orphanage in South India stopped her in her tracks. It set Lalazarian on a healing journey that led to certifications in Usui Reiki (levels 1 and 2), Reiki Master training, shamanic healing, breathwork, Kundalini Yoga and HeartMath®. A mother of twins herself, she eventually found her way to children’s storytelling, finding it to be the most natural extension of her spiritual expertise.

“Children need more than advice in emotional moments—they need tools they can actually feel and use in their bodies,” says Lalazarian. “That became the inspiration for everything I’m building.”

That mission is the foundation of “Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love.” It’s more than a bedtime story. It’s a doorway into emotional resilience, courage and nervous system awareness—and an invitation back home to yourself, to love, to your center. Through imaginative scenes and gentle guidance, readers are invited to practice calming visualization, self-soothing techniques and empowering affirmations alongside the characters.

“In every child lives a light so bright it can change the world,” writes Lalazarian. “I wanted to write a story where children don’t just watch the characters become brave—they feel it themselves, in their own bodies, as they turn the pages.”

By embedding breathwork and guided visualization into the narrative itself, Lalazarian gives parents and caregivers a built-in emotional regulation tool for bedtime, big feelings or any moment a child needs to return to themselves. The main characters’ journey – from frustration and fear to courage, connection and love – mirrors the emotional landscape children (and adults) navigate every day, and the techniques woven throughout reflect more than a decade of Lalazarian’s training in the healing arts.

“Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love” is an ideal read for children ages four through eight and for any family looking to bring mindfulness into their daily routine. It’s a reminder that, in Lalazarian’s own words, “love is your greatest power”—and that the magic children seek in the world is the same magic they already carry within.

“My hope is that children return to this book again and again—not just for the story, but for the feeling it gives them,” says Lalazarian. “That they close the last page knowing they are brave, they are strong and the light within them is real.”

Ani Lalazarian’s children’s picture book, “Into the Heart of the Forest: A Journey to Love,” is available now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other major online booksellers.

Maryland RN Launches Platform to Close the Home Care Affordability Gap – Without Sacrificing the Standard Families Demand

FREDERICK (Md. ), May 1, 2026, (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) – CareopsHQ launched its White Glove Senior Care program today, offering Maryland families an affordable, vetted alternative to traditional homecare agencies. It also offers hospital discharge planners and social workers as well as geriatric teams a unique referral option. Image caption: White Glove Senior Program by CareopsHQ. CareopsHQ, founded by Magna Johnston Bucknor, a registered nursing with more than 25 year of clinical experience in multiple specialties, was created after Johnston Bucknor saw first-hand what happens to families who cannot afford agency care. They turn to unvetted caretakers with no oversight, no training, and no support. Both the family and caregiver are left to struggle alone. The cost of traditional home care is simply out of reach for most Maryland families. Families who enroll in the White Glove Program can expect to save up to $20,000 per year. “The problem wasn’t just the cost. Families who could not afford agencies had no alternative, and caregivers failed to do their jobs because they were not trained in the human aspect of the job. Magna Johnston Bucknor, CareopsHQ Founder, Registered Nurse, and Home Care Agency owner, said: “I built CareopsHQ to fill both gaps at the same time.” What makes the White Glove Program different? CareopsHQ’s White Glove program is designed for healthcare professionals looking for an affordable, trustworthy alternative to traditional agency referrals. Every placement goes though a rigorous process to protect families and support the caregivers. Agency-vetted caregivers are background-checked, screened for cultural and behavioral fit, and trained in soft-skills such as conflict de-escalation and communication, family emotional support, and dignity in care. A dedicated nurse advocate is assigned in every case, providing clinical oversight and ongoing accountabilities. Payroll compliance tools support families in their role of household employers. A performance accountability system ensures care standards are maintained during the engagement. This CareopsHQ adheres to agency standards and applies the same screening rigor that families would expect from licensed agencies — at a fraction the cost. Johnston-Bucknor identified the nurse advocate role as the missing piece of most private caregiver arrangements. A licensed professional in the corner of the family, ensuring that the relationship stays on track, and care never becomes an liability for the clinician making the referral. Referring CareopsHQ to discharge planners and social workers is easy. Healthcare professionals can direct families to https://careopshq.com/, where a one-time $500 enrollment connects them immediately to the full White Glove system. CareopsHQ is a structured, vetted option for clinicians who are managing complex discharge situations, where traditional agency placements are not financially viable. This allows them to provide families with a structured, vetted alternative, rather than leaving them to navigate private care alone. “Affordable shouldn’t mean second-rate. “Every senior deserves care that maintains their dignity – and every family deserves to have a system that does not collapse when something goes awry,” said Magna Bucknor, founder of CareopsHQ. CareopsHQ’s White Glove Program for Senior Care is available in Maryland. To refer a family or schedule a partner briefing, visit: https://careopshq.com/. ABOUT CAREOPSHQ Magna Johnston Bucknor founded CareopsHQ, a Maryland-based platform for senior care. She is a registered nurse who has more than 25 years’ experience in multiple specialties. She is also a licensed home care agency owner. Johnston-Bucknor founded CareopsHQ when she identified a critical need in the Maryland senior care industry: families that could not afford traditional agency fees had no structured, vetted alternative. The White Glove Senior Care Program offers agency-vetted caregivers, nurse advocate support and soft-skills education at a fraction the cost of traditional agency rates. CareopsHQ is a non-licensed home care agency. The platform helps families to fulfill their role as household employers by ensuring compliance with the law and accountability for care throughout the engagement. Emirates Expands Global Travel Rehearsal Programme to the UK

Emirates, the first Autism-Certified Airline in the world, launched its “Travel Rehearsal”, a programme that allows people with accessibility requirements to experience an interactive simulation of a complete air travel journey. This helps reduce anxiety and builds confidence before boarding a flight. In partnership with Hertfordshire’s St Elizabeth’s Centre special needs school, several students with autism spectrum disorder and their families experienced Emirates’ travel journey at Stansted from check-in to the departure gate. The students and their families were accompanied by airport and airline personnel as they walked through the check-in, security, and departure lounge. The students and their families also experienced immigration, baggage pick-up, and meet and greet. As part of Emirates “Accessible Travel for All”, the Travel Rehearsal program aims to make air traveling more predictable and comfortable for those on the autism spectrum. This global program aims to break some of the invisible travel barriers that people with neurodivergence face. It will give them more confidence and help open up the world for more people to discover. I’d like thank the Emirates Airport Services Stansted team for their role in bringing to life this initiative, in collaboration with our partner, to help make air traveling more inclusive.” ADVERTISEMENTLisa Toley, Headteacher of St Elizabeth’s Centre added: “Airports are overwhelming and stressful environments, for people with disabilities and accessibility requirements, as well as their families. These experiences are vital for those who might otherwise not be able to travel. We’re very grateful to Emirates and Stansted Airport for hosting this valuable and empowering experience.”Stephanie Putt, London Stansted Airport Accessibility Manager, commented: “It’s been fantastic working with Emirates on this excellent initiative, and we’re so grateful to St Elizabeth’s school for their wonderful support. This project will help the airport remove travel barriers for not only Emirates customers but also anyone who relies upon assisted travel. By learning from this trial in a live airport setting, we can continue to strengthen accessibility and make the journey smoother and more welcoming for all passengers.”Accessible Travel for AllEmirates became the world’s first Autism-Certified Airline after more than 35,000 cabin crew and ground staff completed specialised autism awareness training. The programme provides employees with a thorough understanding of the autism spectrum and common misconceptions. It also provides them with personalised support strategies tailored for individual passenger needs.

Girl, 14, found in singer D4vd’s car died of ‘multiple injuries’

After months of speculation, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office announced on Wednesday that the girl found in D4vd’s car had died from “multiple penetrating wounds”. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office announced on Wednesday that they had ruled Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s death as a homicide. They noted that the 14-year old died from injuries caused by a non-disclosed object or objects. She was found dead inside the front boot of the Tesla registered to TikTok Star D4vd (21), in September. The singer faces several charges, including murder, in relation to her death. David Anthony Burke, D4vd’s real name, has pleaded innocent. His attorneys have said they will “vigorously” defend his innocence. Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s family provided this image. The defence team for the musician believes that the “actual evidence” will show David did not murder Celeste and was not responsible for her death. Blair Berk’s attorneys Marilyn Bednarski, Regina Peter and Regina Peter issued a statement in which they said that they would vigorously defend David’s innocence. Burke is scheduled to return to Los Angeles court Thursday at 830 local time (1630 BST). Investigators at the Medical Examiner’s Office had examined Rivas’s body shortly before she was discovered in September. They determined the cause and manner on 9 December, but were prohibited from releasing the information publicly while police investigated the case. The charging documents state that prosecutors allege that the teen’s body was dismembered and killed sometime around 5 May 2025. This is at least four months prior to her body being discovered. Chief Medical Examiner Odey Ukpo stated in a press release that she was grateful for the information being released to the public and to the grieving families. It is incomprehensible that they had to wait so long to find out what happened to their daughter, said Ukpo. He had previously criticised the decision not to release their findings. The report contains some new information about her remains. Forensic teams discovered shredded blue plastic within some of her wounds. The report states that her body had been found in a black zip-top bag in the trunk of the Tesla. A toxicology report found methamphetamine, or MDMA, and a low alcohol level in her system. However, it noted that neither seemed to have played a role in the death. They thanked the police and prosecutors, as well as the residents of Lake Elsinore, for their support over the past months. “Celeste loved to sing and dance. She was a beautiful girl with a strong personality. In a statement, her parents Jesus Rivas & Mercedes Martinez said that every Friday night was movie time and they spent wonderful times with her. “We love her very, and she told us she loved us all the time. We miss her deeply. We want justice for Celeste. “Family Attorney Patrick Steinfeld said in a BBC statement that the family had been “devastated” after hearing the gruesome facts that were revealed in David Burke’s trial. Nathan Hochman, Los Angeles’ District Attorney, said at a press conference that the teen had gone to Burke’s Hollywood Hills home on 23 April 2025. “She was never heard from ever again”. Hochman said that it is “a parent’s worst nightmare” when their daughter leaves for the night and never returns. Her parents reported her missing in April, but it was not until September that she was found dead. The singer of Here With Me and Romantic Homicide was arrested in Los Angeles by police last week after more than seven months. His world tour was canceled and he lost deals with brands. Getty ImagesLos Angeles Police Department chief Jim McDonnell defended the agency’s handling and why it took such a long time to make an arrest on Monday. “I want to make something clear. My duty isn’t to fuel speculation. It is to deliver justice and that requires patience, discipline and everyone’s help,” he said. “This investigation was driven solely by the desire to bring justice to Celeste Rivas, and those who loved her. We had to make sure that nothing we said or did would jeopardize this case. “He said that the conditions of the teen’s body delayed the determination of her cause of death, because “a substantial amount of time” passed between her death ad the discovery of her corpse. This caused evidence to degrade or disappear. Hochman also noted that there were issues in the case which delayed charges being filed. When asked by the BBC to explain those issues, Hochman cited the difficulty of interviewing multiple people – some of whom are “cooperative” while others are not – and looking at all the available evidence. “It’s the type of case that you went to get maximum information,” he said, asking anyone with any additional information to come forward.Singer D4vd confirmed as ‘target’ of investigation into murder of teenSinger D4vd arrested on suspicion of murdering teenage girlCultureLos AngelesUnited StatesCaliforniaMusic
