Congressman vows to find answers in missing, deceased scientists cases as Trump gives update on investigation

NEWYou can now hear Fox News articles. “The count has reached 13” Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) said on X that thirteen American scientists involved in nuclear and space research were either missing or dead. “Every adversary celebrates every one of our losses.” We are weaker today as a country because of these losses. I’m trying to find answers. “I asked the FBI directly if it had opened an inquiry into Matthew Sullivan’s suspicious death,” he wrote in a subsequent post. “They refused to confirm or deny. I’ve been pursuing this issue for almost a full year. The FBI owes the American people straight answers. Period. He was the former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, and had connections to the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where top-secret nuclear research is conducted. The trend caught the attention of the White House and the FBI is now investigating. The FBI told Fox News Digital that it is leading the effort to find connections between the missing and deceased scientists. “We are working closely with the Department of Energy and Department of War as well as our state and local partners to find answers. “Trump gave a report on the investigation on Thursday to Fox News’ Peter Doocy. He said that the situation was “very serious,” but that he had not seen any evidence that showed a link between the deaths and disappearances. “We have many scientists.” You know, if you add up 10 scientists, it’s a large number. It’s a small number compared to the total number of scientists we have. I asked that question. I was asking that question. “No, some of the cases we examined were very sad, and in some cases some were sick. Some people left this world by their own choice. Some had other things. So far, it isn’t a major connection, but sometimes it is. You say, “oh, that’s a terrible thing.” So far, we haven’t found much of a link. We’ll let everyone know. We’re going do a full report. It’s a very serious matter.”

Illegal immigrant suspected in Chandra Levy murder may have escaped justice after botched probe: detective

Federal prosecutors say that the prime suspect was an illegal immigrant who had been convicted of assaults on other women in the same park around the time of Levy’s suspected murder. Federal prosecutors say that the prime suspect was an illegal immigrant who had been convicted twice of assaults against other women in the same park around the time Levy was suspected of being murdered. He told Fox News Digital that while they did conduct a grid-search of Rock Creek Park in May 2002, they didn’t go down into the ravine where Chandra Levy was found. “And the only reason those remains were found was because a man walking his dog came across them.” We may still be searching for Chandra Levy if we didn’t do that. Williams said that if a more thorough search grid had been conducted earlier, investigators might have been able recover physical evidence linking the suspected to the crime. “25 years later, due to the way and the recklessness in which the investigation was conducted, we still have a question mark about who killed Chandra Levy,” said Williams. She was last seen at a gym in Washington, D.C., near her apartment, on April 30th, 2001. Investigators tracked her Internet usage the next morning and found that she was still alive as of 1 p.m., May 1, 2001. On May 6, her parents contacted D.C. Police and their congressman Gary Condit. Condit is a California Democrat, who later allegedly had an affair with the woman. It was impossible to reach him. Williams said that the congressional connection likely caused investigators to be distracted by the scandal. He said that because he was a congressman, the officers were intimidated and were unable to get much information from him. They later cleared him and focused on another man. In April 2009, police arrested an illegal immigrant named Ingmar Guiandique (also known as Ingmar Guiandique-Blanco) who had attacked women in Rock Creek Park at the time of Levy’s murder. He was convicted of attacking two other women with a blade in the park, one on May 14 – two weeks after Levy’s murder – and another on July 1 – a decade later. Listen to the new ‘CRIME AND JUSTICE WITH DONA ROTUNNO PODCAST’ The case was dropped and Immigration and Customs Enforcement returned him to El Salvador. Find out more on the TRUE CRIME HUB. “They deported him perhaps because he was a killer, rather than putting him on trial for a second time,” Williams stated. This is also a mystery. “While he still believes Guandique to be an important suspect, the official case remains unsolved after 25 years.CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD FOX NEWS APPIt’s very clear to me that the family will not be able get over the loss of this promising young intern who came to Washington to work,” Williams said.Fox News Stephanie Nolasco contributed to this article.
