(PGCIL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, provided financial support of Rs 6.5 million to establish the advanced neurosurgical OT. The funding allowed for the purchase of cutting-edge equipment to improve precision, safety and outcomes during complex spine and brain surgeries, according to a government release. The facility, which is state-of the-art, was inaugurated informally by Prof. (Dr. Ashok Puranik), executive director of AIIMS Guwahati.
