The Miss USA organization has announced that Brittany Boltinhouse was stripped of the title Miss North Carolina USA 2020. The Miss USA organization stated that it will not tolerate racism, homophobia or transphobia nor any language which strips anyone of dignity.
Boltinhouse won the Miss USA title on Sunday, June 28. Thom Brodeur was the Chairman and CEO of Miss USA & Miss Teen USA. He did not mention the specifics of the conduct in his statement. However, he did say that the behavior did not meet the standards set by the Miss USA organisation.
A title is not a small trinket. He added that it’s an honorary position granted by an organisation and taken up by the woman accepting to represent a certain standard.
According to Brodeur, the decision was jointly made with Boltinhouse and state directors, as well as by the organization.
Boltinhouse is yet to publicly respond about losing her title. ABC News has contacted Boltinhouse and her A Blaize Productions state directors but have not yet received a reply.
Brodeur stated in his Wednesday statement that Boltinhouse will be making her own statement. Boltinhouse stated that Boltinhouse had written a letter on this matter. In it she said, “There’s ownership, accountability and an apology.”
Boltinhouse said that the Miss USA organization deliberately released their statement before Boltinhouse spoke about her removal from her title.
ABC News contacted the Miss USA Organization for further comments. A spokesperson directed ABC News to Brodeur’s statement from Wednesday.
In a Wednesday statement, A Blaize Productions – a pageant and production company that oversees the preliminary competitions of Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Teen USA for North Carolina, and other states – said that Boltinhouse’s title was stripped “not lightly.”
The company stated that the decision was made after a review of all the information recently revealed. It also took into account the overall circumstances, as well as our obligation to maintain the integrity of Miss North Carolina USA and the values we hold dear.
Brodeur stated that Boltinhouse was “accountable,” however, he warned against “cruelty”, and that people should not “permit” anyone to “rob someone of their human dignity, as is exactly what we hold her accountable for.”
Boltinhouse has been replaced with Miss North Carolina’s runner up, Myla Hadley.
On August 27, the 75th Miss USA Pageant will be held. Miss USA’s winner will compete in Miss Universe, which takes place on November 24.
Miss USA and Miss America is a separate organization and they each have their own competitions.
Miss North Carolina Lauryn mallard won the Miss America title on the 27th of June. She still holds it.

Joe Amabile, the popular “Bachelor in Paradise” alumnus has just announced some great news: his brain tumour was successfully removed.
Serena Pitt, his wife who he fell in love with on Bachelor in Paradise, has given him a major update. She says that he is “recovering very well” after the surgery.
Last month, “Grocery Store Joe”, a fan favorite known for his witty remarks and witticisms was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Doctors found a lesion the size of a blueberry in an MRI.
Joe was optimistic that Joe would be fine because the cancerous tumor at the time is still in the early stages.
Joe and his family must be feeling relieved.
Joe was a contestant in both “The Bachelorette”, and “Bachelor in Paradise”, in 2018…. And then in 2021, he came back to “BIP.”
In 2018, he appeared on the “Dancing With the Stars” show.

One Night Only is a high-concept but low-reward romance that has been astonishing audiences with its concept for several weeks. It’s now headed to the theaters. I have a theory that the version of the movie that takes place in a dystopian America where nonmarital sexual activity is banned for 12 hours once a week could’ve been great if they had committed to its dystopian setup. It’s not just a thought experiment that I did to entertain myself while Monica Barbaro, Callum Turner, and their unfunny, endless interludes lasted for one fateful evening — at least it isn’t. There are some indications that One Night Only may have been aiming for a more darkly humorous tone at one time.
There are so many brands in the film, such as the KY representatives dressed up and handing out samples, or the ads that encourage people to get it on (“You have been training for one night,” proclaims Equinox). It almost feels like the whole thing is a joke. Perhaps a commentary on the fact that rom-coms have traditionally been a form of hetero monogamy commercial? It’s also possible that the movie is making a point by showing how even New York City, a coastal haven, can be manipulated into a Christo-fascist state of surveillance. There are signs saying “REPEAL”, attendees shouting at parties “FUCK MANDATE”, and characters wondering if it really makes them happy to follow compulsory purity. The movie One Night Only was written by Travis Braun, a writer for various animated kids shows. It is directed by Will Gluck who continues to use up the goodwill that Easy A and Friends With Benefits have accrued.
One Night Only is a film about two young people who fall in love. It’s set against a background of compulsory chastity enforced by the law and kept up by the tech firm that placed sensors on everyone over 18 years old. The introduction claims that the breach in personal freedom and autonomy began suddenly three years ago, thanks to an unknown congressional act. According to that standard, the audience should be able accept that this is all just a background for Allie (who’s single, hoping to find a relationship) to meet Owen (Turner), a man who wants to hookup out of spite because his girlfriend Maya Hawke announced her intentions to have sex. The movie is like watching a viral video with a fitness influencer dancing in the face of a military coup unfolding in Myanmar. You want to shout, “Does anybody onscreen know what’s going on?”
One Night Only is neither a rom-com nor a comedy, and it doesn’t do either well. Turner is gaining the reputation of an “industry plant” who is forcing stardom on people, regardless of whether they like it. Turner looks like the son of Mike Faist, and Josh O’Connor. (Can he play Tennis?) Turner is not a romantic leading man. He’s incapable of flirty banter, and he exudes smarm rather than charm. Turner is reminiscent of an old bully. Owen, who owns his pizza shop and should be a good guy with a set way of doing things, has lines such as “Your legs are not making sense.” Owen’s supposed to be solid but a bit stuck in the past. Barbaro is better in the role of Allie. However, her character, who wants to stay true to herself, and find love on that one night when everyone just wants to have fun, has to deal with some hackneyed plot developments.
Rom-coms are not without contrivance. Two people are clearly meant to be together but must remain apart due to misunderstandings, mishaps, or social factors. One Night Only has a lot of contrivance as evidenced by the many countdown clocks that are posted around the place to let everyone know when the Sex Purge is over. It tries to find reasons why Allie or Owen would not want to go somewhere and fuck. Owen vomits because he had too much omakase. They are cute and meet. The two run into one another again as they scramble to find the last condom left in the vicinity (the use of barrier devices, which is legal but unclear to the police to enforce), resulting in a series if laughable high-jinks meant to pass the time. The two meet other potential lovers, but they are prohibited from having any kind of non-romantic relationship because of scams, police raids and injuries.
It becomes apparent at a certain stage in the film that it is incredibly prudish when it comes to sex. Not just for the sceptical gaze the director casts on people who engage in PDAs and more in subways, doorways, or through windows without curtains, but also because it views sex in sex to be an obstacle to getting to know somebody. One Night Only could have been subversive if it were directed by Paul Verhoeven. Its glossy surface would be a harsh indictment to its conclusion, that true love may indeed wait. It’s instead in the hands filmmakers with no clue what they are going for and has a character that is not kidding when he asks aloud whether fascists had it right.

Minnie Driver told reporters that she has sprained her back and “is in shock” following a “really serious car accident.”
In a video she posted to Instagram on Thursday, August 6, the 56-year old actor informed fans of the car accident that occurred in France. She said the actress is now in London, after having returned from France where the accident took place.
Without the filter, I would have looked abysmal. Driver said that even the dog would not look at her. She was wearing a neck support and lying on its side.
I got in a bad accident with my buddy Ben a few weeks ago, but we managed to walk out. We didn’t actually walk away from it. “We crawled our way out, but we made it out alive,” continued the woman.
She and her friend, the “Good Will Hunting’ star, said they were at fault. The actress said that she and her friend were driving on a rural road in France when they collided with another car.
She said, “A car was speeding and didn’t halt at the intersection. We just hit it.”
She told fans that she was fine before revealing she has a sprained collar and is still dealing with emotional aftereffects of the terrifying incident.
Driver said, “I am really shocked and I’m crying all the time.”
The driver, who revealed that she was never in a car accident, said it is “astonishing”, she and her companion were not crushed by the impact.
She said, “I am a Minnie Driver. Pun intended.” I need to thank the car for saving us because our families love us. “I am grateful that I’m alive.”
The video ended with a thank you to Kia for the vehicle they were in.
Driver gave more information about the accident in the caption. She thanked a kind hearted person who stopped to assist the couple before an ambulance could arrive.
Special mention goes to the driver of the vehicle who stopped, inspected the scene, and then drove away without stopping. She wrote: “I guess this is Dao, light and dark of the universe.”
The driver said that she replays the accident over and over in her head as she analyses what has happened.

In the comments section, fans and friends expressed their gratitude that Driver was fine. She was also wished a quick recovery.
Driver managed to maintain a good sense of humor despite the seriousness of the situation. On her Instagram Story, she wrote, “Even if I wasn’t behind the wheel, I am still going by Kia Driver.”

Perez Hilton’s family confirmed that his niece, sister and three children were in the house “minutes” before he livestreamed an apparent act of self-harm during “a severe mental crisis.”
Hilton’s family released a statement on his blog Thursday, saying that they had “fled” to avoid witnessing further trauma after it became “clear” Hilton “was harming himself.”
Hilton, 48, who is Mario Lavandeira in real life, began a livestream Tuesday on his TikTok page before it was taken down. The video showed him covered in blood with obvious cuts, and holding a blade.
Celebrity blogger Hilton is the sole parent of his three children who were all born through surrogacy and are under 14 years old. Hilton’s parents urged the public to “leave the area around the home of the Hilton family and never return.”
The statement states that “our highest priority is to help the children heal from the trauma they have experienced.” The statement reads: “An essential part of this process is to allow them to return safely home, and start rebuilding their sense of normality and security.”
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told NBC News deputies responded Tuesday night to reports of someone who “livestreamed acts of self-harm” on social media. The office didn’t name Hilton but said that the person had been “safely recovered,” and was taken to a hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, where he received medical treatment.
Hilton’s family confirmed that he received medical treatment on Wednesday. They said he is “able to communicate which gives our family hope.”
In the weeks before this incident, 48-year old had been hospitalized twice for sepsis, an ulcer and deep vein blood thrombosis. He has told his followers in recent months that he found God.
Hilton became famous in early 2000s for blogging about celebrity personal lives. He has been accused of demeaning women, and violating their privacy.
His family thanked “the overwhelming love, prayers, and support we received in this extremely difficult time.”
The statement says: “The past few days has been a difficult time for my family.”
