Skydance Sports Chief David Berson Sets Exec Roster
David Berson, the CBS Sports veteran who is now chairman of Skydance‘s Global Sports Group, has set his leadership team and named veteran execs Jeff Gerttula and Craig Barry to key roles.
The appointments are the latest to come down from senior leadership in an effort to organize and restructure Skydance, which was created by this month’s $110 billion merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. The new entity has platforms across broadcast TV, streaming, cable and digital. Berson was elevated to the top role the week the merger closed, with TNT Sports chief Luis Silberwasser announcing his departure.
By and large, the new roster confirms to the usual practice with mergers, wherein executives from the company doing the acquiring (CBS parent Paramount, in this case) prevail over the other side. One notable exception is Barry, who worked at the TNT and Turner sports division for nearly four decades. As Skydance Global Sports Group‘s EVP and Chief Content Officer, Barry will lead all production across remote setups and live events, along with talent, features and editorial.
Gerttula, a veteran CBS Sports digital exec, will oversee digital, international, strategy and business development for sports. “As we are still assessing the international structure and operating model, Jeff will be the point person with the international sports teams,” Berson noted.
Sports Business Journal had the first report on the appointments, which have now been confirmed by Deadline.
Notable exits as part of the reorg include those of TNT Sports communications and talent chief Nate Smeltz; CBS production EVP Harold Bryant; TNT Sports CFO Sophia Constantinides; TNT Sports Ventures president Patrick Crumb; TNT Sports HR SVP Donald Knight; and TNT SVP of strategic partnerships Raphael Poplock.
In the memo, Berson saluted the departing execs’ “leadership, partnership and immeasurable contributions, calling them “excellent executives whom I greatly admire and respect.”
Here are the names, titles and job descriptions provided by Berson:
Jeff Gerttula – Executive Vice President and Managing Director. In this new role, Jeff will oversee digital, international, strategy and business development for sports. As we are still assessing the international structure and operating model, Jeff will be the point person with the international sports teams. Bennett Spector will join Jeff’s team and continue to oversee Bleacher Report and House of Highlights. Yang Adija will also join Jeff’s team, with a focus on digital strategy and operations.
Craig Barry – Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer. Craig will be responsible for all production, including remote and live event production, studio production, on-air talent, features, creative content, graphics and editorial.
Patty Power – Executive Vice President, Operations and Engineering. Patty will manage day-to-day operations and engineering, including remote technical operations, production management, engineering, post-production and media operations, and on-air operations.
Dan Weinberg – Executive Vice President, Programming. Dan will lead our programming group, responsible for programming strategy, rights acquisitions, program development, scheduling, and relationship management with our league partners.
Chris Carter – Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Chris will oversee all financial efforts.

Heidi Klum Reveals 2026 Halloween Costume: Severed Hand
It wouldn’t be Halloween without Heidi Klum, as the star revealed yet another jaw-dropping costume at her signature party on Saturday night.
The Queen of Halloween, as she has become known, celebrated the 25th anniversary of her NYC Halloween party this year, and Klum took it to the next level as she showed up as a severed hand.
She arrived in a truck covered in red “danger” sings, helped to the ground by actors in yellow hazmat suits. Klum’s elaborate costume includes a bloody wrist and her head at the center of the hand, with fingers featuring rings and a fresh manicure; she revealed in red carpet interviews it was an intricate recreation of her own hand. The star appeared without husband Tom Kaulitz, who has dressed up alongside her in recent years.
Klum is hosting the event, presented by Apothic and Butterfinger, at Cathédrale Restaurant at Moxy East Village. The party has become one of Spooky Season’s most iconic events, as Klum always turns up in an elaborate look — in recent years, she’s transformed into Medusa, E.T., a peacock, Fiona from Shrek, Jessica Rabbit and famously, a worm.
The supermodel has been teasing glimpses at her costume on her Instagram, teasing her transformation all day long while asking her followers to submit their guesses on what she would become. Klum collaborates on her costumes with special effects makeup designer Mike Marino, who won an Emmy for his work on The Penguin. Marino revealed in a recent interview that “this costume this year is one of the most elaborate costumes ever made. It’s so difficult to do and just the complication of it is really challenging.”
Klum herself promised earlier this year to People that her look was “very, very bloody” and “goes very well with red wine;” she has partnered with Apothic Wines on limited-edition Apothic x Heidi Klum Type ‘A’ Blood Bags, a Halloween collectible inspired by the look of blood bags that were also served at the party.

Ricki Lake claims Rosie O’Donnell judged her facelift, then got one
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
Ricki Lake admitted to feeling a little judged by her friend Rosie O’Donnell following her facelift in 2024.
During an episode of “The Weekend View” she was co-hosting, the 58-year-old actress shared that she chose to get a facelift after losing “40 pounds naturally without the use of pharmaceuticals,” saying “we just went south.”
“I was not trying to reverse the clock and look like I’m 20,” she explained. “I have my natural gray hair. I really own my age and I love the age I’m at.”
While she was happy with how her procedure turned out, Lake explained that not everyone in her circle was completely supportive of her decision to go under the knife.

She said that O’Donnell, who she considers “a really good friend,” was a bit “judgy” upon hearing Lake had decided to go through with the cosmetic surgery.
“She would admit it that she was judgy of myself and a few of my friends that went to this doctor and had these amazing results,” Lake said. “She’s like, ‘Why do you need it?’ And then, sure enough, she lost a bunch of weight on Mounjaro, and she went and had it done.”
O’Donnell revealed she went through with the same procedure in a Substack post shared in May. She also shared a lengthy Instagram post about why she chose to do it, writing she had assigned herself “as head of all women who would never – ever” get a facelift.
She admitted to thinking it was “a betrayal” of feminism, aging and “of our team of women worldwide.” Her opinion on the matter changed, she wrote, when she lost 50 pounds.

“It wasn’t wrinkles—it was gravity,” she wrote. “I’d look in the mirror and think, this isn’t aging, this is … melting with intention.”
While on “The View,” Lake went into detail about what exactly she had done, sharing she did not get her eyes done, opting for “a deep-plane lower face and neck lift and a CO2 laser.”
“I’m thrilled with my results. And I love my doctor. And I’m not gonna gate keep here. Dr. Alan Foulad in Los Angeles. He’s very special,” she said. “He’s wonderful, and he’s a master.”

Lake previously spoke about her decision to get a facelift after weight loss, telling the “Inside Edit” podcast in March that she “didn’t do any research” before deciding “very impulsively to have my face done.”

She explained that it all came together very quickly. After having her consultation appointment in mid-June, she booked a surgery date for mid-July and “never looked back.”
“I had just lost 40 pounds, and I had this hanging,” she said, pointing to the area under her chin. “And it wasn’t just like that I didn’t like what I saw or wanted to look younger. I have gray hair. It’s not about that. It’s like, I had an appendage hanging that wasn’t going to grow back, like come back up.”

‘Nobody Wants This’ star Tovah Feldshuh addresses ‘tensions’ around Palestine
“Nobody Wants This” star Tovah Feldshuh swears there is no squabbling amongst the cast over the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are,” Feldshuh, 77, wrote via Threads on Friday, October 30, addressing rumors the cast is feuding. “Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set.”
She continued, “I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season.”
Last month, Adam Brody, who plays a rabbi in the Netflix series, spoke up about the Middle East strife.
“I have spoken a lot about it privately. I haven’t spoken much about it publicly,” the “O.C.” alum shared in GQ. “Put me down as thinking it’s a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.
“It’s awful that it’s taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it’s reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I’m hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.”
Feldshuh, who plays Brody’s mother, Bina, in the series, vehemently disagrees with her on-screen son.

“To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild,” she told The Post. “It’s right out of Hitler’s playbook. You take the victim and you make the victim the perpetrator.”
“My job, as Bina but also as Tovah, is to love the people on set at my place of work, to be kind,” she said.
Rabbi Steve Leder, who was the technical adviser on the show’s first season, has also blasted Brody, labeling him an “ignorant Jew.”
The series follows Rabbi Noah Roklov (Brody), who is in a relationship with Joanne, a non-Jewish sex podcaster, played by Kristen Bell.
It is loosely based on creator Erin Foster’s relationship with now-husband Simon Tikhman.
Season 3 of the rom-com series recently dropped.

Savannah Chrisley shares pointed message after fraudster husband Jason Galanis reveal
Savannah Chrisley has a pointed message for those who are critical of her recently revealed engagement, secret marriage and pregnancy.
Posting to her Instagram Story on Saturday, Chrisley, 29, reflected that it had been a “whirlwind” week, and that the “world can be so incredibly cruel.”
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum indeed had a week full of headlines: She first announced she was pregnant and engaged in an Instagram video Tuesday. It was subsequently revealed that her fiancé is convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, 56. And then it was further uncovered that she and Galanis secretly tied the knot on July 14 at a Baptist church in the Cayman Islands, months before publicly announcing their engagement and pregnancy.
“People can be quick to judge, quick to condemn, and slow to show grace,” she wrote. “But as I sit here looking out at God’s beautiful creation, I’m reminded of something so much greater than the noise around me …”
“The world may try to steal your peace, but it can never take away what God has promised you,” she continued.
“I’ve learned that you don’t have to defend what God has already ordained. You don’t have to fight every battle, answer every accusation, or convince the world of what God already knows to be true,”
“Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply being still, choosing love when you’re met with hate, extending grace when none is given, and trusting that Jesus is working even in the moments that hurt the most. My heart is full. My blessings are immeasurable. And my faith is stronger than any storm this world could ever bring. Because at the end of the day, hate will never have the final word. JESUS WILL. And LOVE ALWAYS WINS.”
“Thank You, Jesus, for a peace this world cannot give and a love this world cannot take away,” she concluded.
Chrisley put the location of her post as the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.
Galanis previously made headlines when President Donald Trump commuted his prison sentence in March 2025.
In September 2020, he was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for his role in two schemes, including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars.
In addition to prison time, Galanis, who was once dubbed “Porn’s New King,” was ordered to forfeit about $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.
Galanis was an associate of Hunter Biden who testified in the impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while he was still behind bars.
Chrisley, however, has defended him as her “protector” and “fiercest fighter,” as well as her “most loyal person.”
