Morbid Maternal Instinct ghouls are called out for trying to visit hospital bed where bloodied Taylor Parker arrested

A HOSPITAL featured in a Netflix true-crime documentary has been forced to issue a stark warning after ghoulish fans of the film began showing up in person and causing distress.
While most viewers of Maternal Instinct have been left sickened, others cannot get enough and have been trying to retrace murderer Taylor Parker’s steps.
Parker was convicted of murdering her friend, Reagan Simmons-Hancock, and cutting her unborn baby from her womb in 2020 – a crime that left even seasoned investigators horrified.
She was later convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death, but she remains the youngest woman on Texas death row amid appeals.
After stealing the newborn, Parker, now 33, claimed to have given birth at the side of the road, and was rushed to McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma.
The baby, named Braxlynn Sage, was tragically declared dead on arrival.
Now, years later, the release of the documentary has triggered renewed fascination — and unwanted real-world consequences for the hospital connected to the response effort.
Staff say members of the public have been arriving in person attempting to see parts of the building, ask about the case, or speak to employees who were working at the time.

Officials say the attention has become disruptive and inappropriate and the hospital has now issued a stern statement.
A rep told news9 in Oklahoma, “While the events portrayed were real and remain a matter of public record, they also represent one of the most painful chapters in the lives of the victim’s family, the New Boston community, and the healthcare professionals who responded that day.
“For many, the emotional impact of this tragedy has never fully faded. This is not a story of entertainment or a destination for tourism. It is a story of devastating loss.
“Out of respect for those affected, including the family, our staff, and the community, McCurtain Memorial Hospital will not participate in interviews, photo opportunities, tours, or discussions related to these events.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to the hospital for further comment.

In disturbing footage obtained by The U.S. Sun and used during the trial, medical staff can be seen frantic and whispering among themselves as they realize Parker had not given birth.
“What did we step into?” a hospital staffer says in the video, wide-eyed and looking fearful.
Investigators later arrive and Parker is seen in the video being interrogated from her hospital bed, soaked in blood and emotional.

Special agent Chad Dansby with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is seen sitting beside her and trying to get her to confess.
“I’m just going to be upfront with you,” he tells her, after pulling up a chair at the side of the hospital bed.
“We know that you had a hysterectomy some time back, and you’ve claimed to be pregnant for a while, but you really weren’t.”
Parker appears crest-fallen as the elaborate story she had spent months constructing begins to collapse around her.
“I really want to believe that you’re not a bad person, that you just made a bad choice, that happens sometimes, it’s okay, everybody does,” Dansby goes on, following his training as he tries to get her to confess.
“What was going on? You’re going to have to help me explain it, because I want to believe that you’re not an evil person, you’re not a bad person.”
He tells Parker he wants to help her if she’s suffering from mental health issues, using a soft approach during the interrogation.
“Did you mean to hurt the woman?” he asks.
“Is it the deal you just wanted a baby so bad that it just overpowered your brain and everything.”
Parker finally starts to break and says, “My heads been hurting.”
She alleges she doesn’t really remember the crime, but Dansby isn’t convinced, saying, “Yeah you do, so what happened?”
Parker claims in the video that there was a struggle, telling the officer, “We both hit each other and she hit her head on the table.”
Dansby is sympathetic, telling her, “Hey, stuff happens sometimes, it’s alright. So what happened here?”
Continuing to lie, Parker claims her friend grabbed a knife and stabbed her, as she begins showing the officer alleged injuries on her hands.
“I don’t know why she grabbed it,” she says, through tears.
“She told me that I was going to rot and that she’d kill me if I touched her again.”
Parker then makes her most absurd claim yet – that Reagan began stabbing herself with the knife to try and set her up.
Later on in the footage, she claims Reagan asked her to cut the baby from her womb because she was dying, and even alleges the newborn “fell out” of Reagan’s stomach before she removed the amniotic sac herself.
As the reality of her situation began to sink in, Parker breaks down, admitting, “I don’t know why I did it, I’m not a bad person.”
Parker is later placed in handcuffs and escorted from the hospital to a waiting police car.

Prosecutors later laid out months of deception at trial, and a jury found Parker guilty of capital murder, sentencing her to death.
But it could be years, or even decades, before Parker meets her fate, as her case is still going through the appeals and post-conviction review process before an execution date can even be set.

Sixpence None the Richer bassist Justin Cary dead at 50

Justin Cary, the bassist of Sixpence None the Richer, has died. He was 50.
The musician “passed peacefully” on Thursday after suffering from a “serious stroke” one week prior, according to a GoFundMe raising money to pay for his medical expenses.
The statement further revealed that his wife, Linda, was by his side at the time of his death before asking fans to “please continue to pray and give strength during this very difficult time.”
On June 11, a GoFundMe page was set up after Cary was rushed to Albany Med Hospital in New York following a “serious stroke.”
At the time, he had undergone two surgeries and was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
“The road ahead is uncertain and scary so if you are so inclined to pray, send good vibes and healing energy it would be truly appreciated,” the GoFundMe description read.
“We wanted to put together a fundraiser to help them during this time and show them love and support. Updates will be made on this site so we can allow Linda to be with Justin at the hospital while they take each step day by day.”
On Wednesday, the page’s organizer gave another update, sharing that he was still “in the ICU and on a respirator.”
“He is receiving amazing care!” the update insisted. “Linda is right next to his bed reading to him and hopeful he hears her.
“She is also telling him how much he is loved. Please continue to pray and send healing vibes.”
Unfortunately, he passed on June 18.
At the time of Page Six’s article publication, more than 360 people had donated, raising more than $38,000.
Sixpence None the Richer formed in 1992, with Cary joining the band five years later with vocalist Leigh Nash, guitarist and songwriter Matt Slocum, drummer Dale Baker and guitarist Tess Wiley.
Other members of the band included keyboardist Jason Lehning and Steve Hindalong, who joined the group as a percussionist in 2024.
The group’s greatest hits include their 1998 track “Kiss Me” and 2002 single “Breathe Your Name.”
“Kiss Me” previously reached No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated at the 2000 Grammy Awards in the category of best pop performance by a duo or group with vocals.
Linda mourned her husband’s death via Instagram, writing alongside throwback photos, “What an honor to be his wife and best friend 🩵.”
Cary was also remembered on the band’s Instagram page in a statement that read, “‘We sure had a great time’ is an understatement. Thank you, Justin. We love you forever … There’s never been anybody like Justin. 🙏🏻.”

Daughter Of Director William Wyler Found Dead With Husband In Running Car

Judith Sheldon, daughter of the legendary Hollywood director William Wyler, was found dead along with her husband Wylie Sheldon in a parked and still-running car on the side of Interstate 5, north of Redding, California, on Monday, June 15.
According to media reports, the couple, longtime patrons of San Francisco’s film and arts scenes, were driving to Ashland, Oregon, to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The 84-year-old Judith and 86-year-old Wylie, a prominent lawyer, had failed to meet up with friends at the festival, as planned. The friends, according to The New York Times, later learned that the California Highway Patrol had found the couple at 5:46 p.m. Monday inside the parked Jeep Compass, with Judith in the driver seat and Wylie on the passanger side. Both were deceased.
The Shasta County (California) Sheriff’s Office indicated to The New York Times that extreme heat conditions might have contributed to the couple’s deaths. A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office tells Deadline that postmortem examinations are in the process of being scheduled.
News reports indicate that the Jeep’s fan was on high but the air conditioning was not working, indicating that the fan might have been blowing hot air. No water or other liquids were found in the vehicle.
Investigators do not suspect foul play, and the vehicle, which had plenty of gas, showed no signs of mechanical failure.
One of the friends who had been waiting for the couple in Oregon told The Times, “They didn’t crash. They stopped. They both just died there. The entire thing is so bizarre. We’re still in a state of shock.”
The couple, residents of San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood, were well known in the city’s arts communities: Judith was a chairman of the board of the San Francisco Silent Film Festival, and were patrons of the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Performances.
Born May 21, 1942, in Los Angeles, Judith, credited as Judy Wyler, appeared in at least two of her famous father’s most celebrated films: In 1946 she appeared in an uncredited role in a department store scene of The Best Years Of Our Lives, and in 1953 she appeared, again uncredited, in Roman Holiday. (In that film, she and her sister Catherine play schoolgirls at the Trevi Fountain, where the character played by star Gregory Peck steals their camera.)
Judith had other acting roles as a young adult, appearing in such TV shows as The Buccaneers and The Errol Flynn Theatre.
While her mother, actor Margaret Tallichet, starred in the 1940 noir film Stranger on the Third Floor and the 1941 comedy It Started With Eve, it was Judith’s father who secured the family’s place as Hollywood royalty. Universally considered one of Hollywood’s all-time great directors, the three-time Oscar winner William Wyler directed such classics Mrs. Miniver (1942), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), Ben-Hur (1959), Dodsworth (1936), Wuthering Heights (1939), The Letter (1940), The Little Foxes (1941), The Heiress (1949), Roman Holiday (1953) Friendly Persuasion (1956) and Funny Girl (1968), among many others. He died in 1981.
The Sheldons had two sons, but complete information on survivors was not immediately available.

The Real Reason Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Allegedly Canceled Wedding Plans After Report She Cut Out a Guest Who ‘Can’t Be Trusted’

After months of speculation about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, reports suggest that their plans have been canceled.
According to a June 18 report from TMZ, the power couple originally planned to exchange vows in Rhode Island on Saturday, June 13. However, they reportedly switched gears after news of the venue leaked: “We’re told the couple bailed after word got out about the venue.”

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding Plans Reportedly Include 1 Big Surprise-‘Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience’
Early reports indicated that Swift and Kelce were set to tie the knot at the Ocean House resort, a five-star hotel near Taylor’s Rhode Island home, known as “High Watch.” But due to the leaks, the singer and Kansas City Chiefs player are now reportedly planning to host their wedding at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3.
But what about the actual ceremony? “It’s looking increasingly likely the nuptials will not take place at the Garden, but somewhere more intimate,” TMZ claimed.

This follows a report from Star, which claimed the ongoing changes in “venues and dates” have proven to be a “monstrous headache” for Swift and Kelce. The couple is even now requiring all guests—including close family and friends—to sign strict, iron-clad NDAs.
It’s understandable that this condition extends to relatives, seeing as insiders previously told the Daily Mail that Swift has kept details about the “really, really, big” wedding from her future father-in-law, Ed Kelce, because he “can’t be trusted” to keep a secret.
“He’s sort of like a loose cannon,” one source explained. “Nobody knows what he’s going to say, so it’s kind of a controversial situation.”
The insider then pointed out that Ed “already gave out a lot of information about the engagement,” including when, where, and how his famous athlete son proposed to Swift.
